So a few friends and I are in a crew together. We were doing an invite only session yesterday and we decided to do a TDM. But, when the TDM started we were seperated and not in a party together. Is there a way to make it so that we are in a party together in team games?

I have had this issue alot.

 

3 of us go into a game, And 3 random players join, 2 of us on one side and the other on the other side.

 

Friends and Crew need a priority to be on the same side i think.

So it's safe to assume that the team generator is random, and there is no way to make it so that your friends/crew are on the same team?

You can switch sides very easy, Just it does not Auto Balance so if you have 3 vs 3 and you jump onto the other side with your team mates.

Then it will be 4 vs 2

 

But you can swap sides. If you have a room full of decent people they will normally swap sides to let you play with your mates

How to change sides, please?

When your in the lobby and matchmaking is complete.

 

You go to another screen letting you Buy ammo armour etc, (The screen where you press READY) You will see Side / Team, and you can flick between the different sides using the D Pad and select Join.

Can't you choose when you host it ? I know if you do a GTA team race you can choose who you want when you're the host.
