two questions: Lester Bounty and high priority car

so im at rank 13.. and have seen the lester intro when bounty unlocks

 

1. if you put a bounty on someone, i assumeo only the other players will get the money for killing him?

 

2. every once in a while I get a notification that so and so player has picked up the high priority car. to my understanding this is a car visisble to everyone, so whoever gets it can return it for cash.

1. I believe YOU place the bounty on the person, so YOU shell out the cash to whomever kills the person. You kill ther person, you collect the cash you placed on them, which means you get a net gain of $0.

 

2. Yes. Usually the car will get the player about 11-15k.

regarding the high priority car.. given that this is not a request from Simeon..

is the car actually inidicated with the icon on the map..?

or is it you just happen to stumble upon it.. and then it tells you its the priority car?

 

regarding the bounty.. its useless IMO... why am I going to spend 1k or 5k or whatever amount to put a bounty on someone..? its a waste of money.. so what if I get killed by someone a few times.. I dont care.. im not about to put a bounty on the player.. after paying 2k for the hospital. unless there is another benefit for doing it..?

Yes, the car shows up as a green tracker car icon, exactly the same to your white personal car tracker. If unclaimed, it will disappear. It can be destroyed and obviously redeemed for cash.

 

You would be surprised who will go after a bounty for even a 1000 dollars sometimes so you are not really out cash on your end. 2-3k will almost always get several people on the hunt. think outside the bubble : putting a bounty on someone has huge benefits. It is all about time. If I bounty someone they now have to go hide, fly, run or otherwise switch games... all of which waste their time and take away from whatever it is they would rather be doing. Instead of some fool running around mercing random players, they are now the hunted. Also, if you know someone is walking around with a lot of cash on them or have a lot in the bank, getting them killed makes them lose $$$$$$.

sorry what do you mean.. Im not out of cash on my end.?

if I put a bounty on someone.. dont i have to put up the bounty money.. example $1000..? that means im out $1000.
