if you hit start then online then players if you select one kick is something that's up there didn't try it yet

There is an option to kick players if you are host, it's in view player details and press Y for options on xbox

Yeah, I was getting this problem non stop, I wasn't even doing anything to other players. I found out it was just my crappy wireless internet shutting on and off.

It's not always a connection issue. We were in free roam and a car appeared on the map for anyone to bring to whats his name. So a bud and I rush over to the car and get in. We're heading to turn it in and 2 other players started chasing us to take the car. We shoot up their car and they miss a turn. In about the time it takes to hit start, pull up the players list and vote kick, we got kicked. Lame.

R* needs to stuff this feature where the sun don't shine.

 

The kick feature is good for invite only free roams and missions etc, but it has ABSOLUTELY NO f*cking business being in a public free roam room, I really don't know what the f*ck R* where thinking, they should know by now that if they give players this kinda power they sure as hell will abuse the sh*t out of it.

 

Been kicked alot, and never once for legitemate reasons ( I don't at all attack people in free roam unless they attack me )

 

If the kick feature MUST remain in public free roam, then it should have a hefty cost.. 20k+ so that its only used when theres actually a "emergency"

I am repeatedly kicked and I am doing NOTHING wrong.

 

Just roaming around, doing my own thing, occasionally joining a race or a deathmatch (when it wants to work).

 

Every single time I play. Kicked.

 

Then, when you get back into free roam you get the "you quit the last session....bad sport....blah blah"

 

Utter rubbish.

 

Surely this must just be a glitch. It has happened too many times now and there is zero reason for me to be kicked.

I was getting this constantly on Saturday (like every 5-20 minutes!), but nothing yesterday or today. In most cases I'm pretty sure it's either a glitch, or you got DC'ed...

Couldn't of said it any better! I've been trying to get into a game for about 1.5 hours now and the ones I find I get kicked instantly, and all other ones It gives me host and no one joins!

It's a bug guys, hosts can't instant kick you without some sort of vote. Stop making up f*ckin stories/letting your stupidity get in the way of facts; it slows down people who are actually looking for a solution. Again, this is some connection related issue, it has nothing to do with other players kicking you.

I'm just going to [mostly] cut-and-paste this, as I don't 'wanna write it out twice; .."ESPECIALLY getting rid of the 'kick' feature. I'm pretty sure the latter's [mostly] a bug..as I was kicked before I'd even finished the tutorial [and I still have a perfect rep, despite doing some pretty horrible things]. But it's also a shiny red button for children, and really moody teenagers-full of entitlement issues and indignant self-rightous rage, let's face it. Last I heard, GTA was about being a criminal; but I'm certain some kick you, if you offend their moral sensibilities and don't play like they want you to. I've heard some of the swearing online..def spoilt entitled teenagers. No adult talks like that. I've also heard reports of pairs of kids using it, to kick people at random [as I think you need two votes]. If someone pisses you off; put a bounty on their head, call lester or Merryweather, join a gang, stalk them as they go to rob a store-and block the exit or whatever [which I haven't tried, but it sounds enormously fun]. Use some imagination.

Getting rid of the hospital bills, or at least making it a token amount like $100; would also pacify most of the whingers-who expect you to play like a samurai.

 

Mostly though, when it works [which is seldom at the moment, and not for long]; it's great fun:-) Sometimes people don't even shoot me. That's fun too. Even when I die; I'm usually laughing hysterically, and I've been killed in some pretty inventive ways:-)

But there are plenty online who aren't like me, and who knows; they probably sulk and constantly scan the players list, looking to kick anyone who may have killed robbed or offended their delicate sensibilities at some point.

Reminds me of this quote from the philosopher Immanual Kant;

I'm pretty certain it's NOT just a bug, as; I read about one guy on here who decided to kick someone-to see if it'd work [it did], and the suspicious timing and causality. Sometimes, it's random. Othertimes..

What we said was about this topic which is on a GTA forum you idiot, everyone is entitled to post and complain about whatever the f*ck we want because that's one of the points of this site.
