Can u find choppers on missions?

Just in the world? Driving across the whole map on my bike over and over is getting rather tedious.

Yes, there's usually one at Trevor's airfield in Sandy Shores. I assume there's others dotted around the map.

Wondering the same, especially for the goddamn missions which require one or advise you to use one. In freeroam you can find some perfectly fine, but in missions? Nop. Do they expect us to buy one or get one of lester for 10k or what? This is sh*t

Lol, as much as I love this game, this is sh*t. Drive across the entire map just to instadie when I get near the objective, Yawn. Single player - here I come.

Usually one is always landing near the helipad that Michael and Franklin can purchase in story mode. Don't get too close to him because he will fly in the air and wait for you you to leave. You have to kill him preferably a sniper but don't miss because he will fly away and you have to wait for another one.

Almost all GTA games have had this issue, you spend more time driving then anythign else.

It costs $1000 to get a helicopter pickup from Merryweather, then just shoot the pilot when he lands, free chopper.

 

Just don't do it too many times too frequently, or Merryweather will suspend your services temporarily. Not sure how long, wasn't that long though.

Im on a mission. Everyone's on bikes trying to steal a truck, thought If i hopped in a chopper it would give my team the advantage, plus it would look pretty cool swooping in to steal the truck via chopper when everyone else is scrapping about on bikes. But, alas, there's no choppers around. Yawn.

Spent about half an hour looking for one in a mission and the only one I could find was on top of a hospital. Not entirely sure where though, near the impound I think.

I'm pretty sure this is the only way, so you can't get a chopper during mission before you are level 30 actually.

 

I'm level 25, tried 2 missions last night where you need a chopper. Spent ages on every airfield, hospital, polce department or marina there is. Only flyable object was the fighter jet, which was a bit to fast to land on the roof though...

Deciding to climb up a crane totally wasn't worth the 10 minutes climbing up either caus I got welcomed with bullets...

 

Sucks balls, can't beleieve I get a mission that I can't actually do on my current level.
