Lanzfeld113 Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 When the police are involved with anyone else BUT YOU they don't seem to ever call backup. I have watched many of the random spawn car chases that end in a gunfight and even when the gunfight goes on for a long time in one spot the cops never get any backup. Also the perps never have ANYTHING but pistols. It would be cool to see them have a micro to mix it up a bit. The cops should pull out a carbine sometimes too instead of the shotgun. I remember a mission in IV where we had to attack a house full of drug guys (I cant remember the deets) but if you called the cops while waiting outside the bad guys would have a big big shootout with the cops while you just hid behind a car and watched all the awesome details. More and more cops would arrive and it would get intense. So I just thought of something. I am currently at the point in the game where Mike and Trevor are not allowed in the city or that guys "thugs" will track you down for a gunfight. I will lead them to the police office and see how big the shootout gets between them and the cops. I want to see if ANY BACKUP ARRIVES at the police station. Will report back. The henchmen just kept on arriving and the 2 cops outside were shot down with time. We have a major firefight outside of a police station and no backup. I guess I could try to get to a roof and call 911 over and over but meh. This is a PRIME example of how IV was a bit richer in little AI detail then V. The only time the cops call for backup is chasing you. LAME. dude in gta 4 the cops didn't even react to AI infractions also in online they do seem to call backup. I was in this gang war thing and the cops showed up and they just kept showing up could have been because of my involvement but they duked it out with the gangsters real nice, killed over half of them for me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
