I made a thread asking if choppers where available to steal in the missions because the mission I was doing involved driving across the whole map, I wanted a chopper to get the drop on the opposition. So I started a thread asking where the choppers where.

If Rockstar doesn't do a complete reset for everyone, then yes I am done.

 

It's really fun, and I am a long time fan, as you can see by my join date on this site.

 

But I would painfully sell this game on ebay immediately and just forget Rockstar exists. I will cut down on my gaming permanently, and I will never buy another R* game again. Which hurts, because I love RDR, but f*ck it. GTA V single player launch had no Day 1 patch or a patch at all in the first 2 weeks to fix all their broken glitches and bugs, I couldn't use the car modding or saving my cars to garages, because they vanish. Then the online comes, and they give me more grief. When I finally do get to play, on Friday, I spend 15 hours of my life leveling up my guy and customizing him, only to lose him the next day. And now, I have spent the weekend watching other people have fun, while I refuse to play waiting for my character to come back.

 

Then to top this all off, if I even get my character back, I will be behind everyone by about 30-50 levels.

 

No "launch" experience, that every gamer loves. This whole thing is upsetting.

 

So, unless they Reset everyone, I am done with Rockstar.

I hope its fixed before the end of the month just because november 1st I'm moving to a condo and I won't have internet. Where I am now internet is included. I just don't want an extra bill so I was hoping to get some online play time in before the move, now I already lost one week. I'm not playing again until its fixed, just because its annoying to constantly redo the tutorial, we should be able to skip it.

I've had no problems until today when my level 47 character is gone but still have money showing in bank on social club, dont want to create new character just going to wait.

Add an option for yes if my character doesn't come back.

I dealt with losing my sharkcard cash, but not my level 34 with 1,600,000 k grinded sure but not on the same mission, and if my stuff doesn't return this game and me are through.

Im not playing GTA Online until character deletion gets COMPLETELY solved.

 

 

Glitches are ok. But deleting characters and wasting people's time is unforgivable

I think I could stick around so long as an option to skip the tutorial is available. No offense to Slink, but if I have to hear Lamar call me homie one more time, I might hang myself.

No kidding. Why can't we at least skip the cutscenes? I've gone through the tutorial four times and now I've lost my character again, and the main thing keeping me from doing it again is the boring 30-40 minutes it takes to do everything again, half of which are cutscenes.

The first few days of issues? Fine, it's an online game with a MASSIVE population.

 

Almost a full week and the only problems fixed where removing the ability to easily replay a mission? They are not trying to fix this major problem they have with the cloud screwing up. It's been a week nearly and almost every player has lost a lot of progress on their characters or they flat out lost them.

 

I lost three days of playing, my two friends lost their 27 and 29 level characters and three of my other friends still can not get into the game.

 

What looked like a typical online overload, turned out to be them really not caring too much. Pretty annoyed to see this continue without a word other than "we know, but here is a fix so you for sure can not get back that progress you lost".

 

 

Until they get their sh*t together I am not eve going to bother. If I wanted to grind for hours only for it to be meaningless I would be playing Wow.

This...it's not even been out a week. We've seen plenty of progress from R* trying to fix stuff since release. Once they get this issue out of the way it'll be minor tweaks and fixes that you'll hardly notice.
