Add an option for yes if my character doesn't come back.

I dealt with losing my sharkcard cash, but not my level 34 with 1,600,000 k grinded sure but not on the same mission, and if my stuff doesn't return this game and me are through.

Until Rockstar can confirm that progress will no longer be lost the there is no point in playing it.

No I'm still enjoying it. A month after they fix it most people will be a decent rank for what they want anyway. I agree it sucks to lose a character but we all know the risks now. I will keep creating a new character until they fix it, it really doesn't bother me, after the first two days I'm just happy I can play now. If it bothers you, fair enough just don't risk it and wait it out.

I just want a classic free mode where we can have no police, weapon pick-ups scattered around the map, no money, drive what you find. Good old free mode. I still think IV is more entertaining online and there's no interactivity in there at all.

Until its fixed. Waiting for R* to comment saying either a) we know how to restore lost guys just be patient & we have fixed it or b) we cant restore guys but have fixed the vanishing acts.

 

Havent lost any high ranked guys, but its still sh*tty having to start from scratch again & again. Still hoping my level 13 guy reappears but not counting on it.

Yeah I've actually given up until they've fixed the character deletion issue and ironed out all the major bugs surrounding this mess. i'll wait it out.

I'm done for now. All I know is after this whole fiasco, I'm never again buying R* games on release day. No point in preordering a game that is broken from the getgo. The people who've been patiently waiting to purchase the game once the prices drop off did the smart thing.

As someone who has lost characters and other related progress, it would be daft to give up on it for a while yet.

 

It can be very frustrating (understatement) when it happens but when its going well the game, the ideas and the potential for what it could end up being make me want to keep going for now.

 

Depending on how Rockstar want to play it in the future is key but right now i'm to stick with it.

OT: No. But then again, I've had minimal issues with GTA Online, so I ain't going to quit now. Maybe I had a few character deletions and maybe I wasn't even able to get on at first, but now I'm a level 24 with a nice apartment for my friends to envy until they get better apartments, so I've got it better than a number of people.

I lost my character this morning and just dont have the urge to start over again. My character was only a lvl 18 but i put time into him. When its fixed i will play again but until then i just dont see the point.
