How on earth have people ranked up so fast?

Some people are rank 45 and others 60, I saw one guy who had already gotten rank 120.

What on earth? How did you rank up so fast?

I have read the forums, I still don't see how the violent duct exploit could level you up that much.

they descended from a well known family of chinese gold farmers.. they can grind and grind for days on end without any breaks at all

Considering I was level 20 already yesterday and was doing more than 50% free roam and was first playing online on friday evening, I think it sounds legit. If players already played from wednesday on or whenever they were able to without problems. If they play in a crew and constantly are doing missions and races etc. over and over, they get loads of RP (?) for that. There will always be players who concentrate to reach a certain goal first before others do so, by just concentrating in reaching the goal and leaving everything else out of it.

Level 46 here, 2.75m earned and 362k+ RP with 61h playtime.

I did Violent Duct for about 8 hours over the course of 2 days and probably a good 5 of Base Invaders today..

Violent is pretty decent for RP, giving ~1.3k every 3 minutes and even at my level it is only about 15k RP to level up.

f*ck them, those idiots will be the ones to complain when they have nothing left to earn/do in the game lol.

Basically, some people are so abnormally sad and lonely that they decide to dedicate their lives to find exploits that make the game extremely boring and repetitive, so they can rank up and get money as fast as they possibly can. Funny thing is they will be the first people on the forums bitching because the game is "boring" or there is "nothing" to do, because they rushed to unlock and get everything and refused to take their time with the game in a diverse and fun way.

Hope I helped you with your question.

Haha, how pathetic man. Who are you to tell what people should think is fun, and what's not?

If anyone, I don't think THEY are the ones who are "Abnormally sad and lonely", but maybe you. They are doing what they want to. You are bitching.

The Huntsman

There is a mission where you have to recover a briefcase on top of a parking garage. There's an exploit where destroying the briefcase gives an instance mission success. People have figured out how to start the mission, shoot grenades onto the top, and "beat" the mission within a minute. Considering the mission gives $5,000 and 5,000 RP, it lets them level up very, very quickly. Rockstar failed to properly patch in a way to stop people from replaying missions, so they'll likely keep doing that until the next patch.

I played missions for 3 day straight with no sleep. You dont have to farm violent duct. Most missions will give you 750-1000 rp.

Complete mission, call gerald, complete mission, repeat. People can level up quick without violent duct so I'm not sure why people whine about it. Even without replaying you can still grind pretty hard. Getting cash though is where violent duct shines.

People have been lucky and able to connect to GTAO since day 1 and have been playing quite alot ever since. Thats how they rank up so fast, so may even be farming certain missions.

The Parking Garage. It requires two people and is given by Lester after level 55. I tried it out, and it's actually a fun mission if you do it properly. It splits your team up into two groups - snipers and gunners - and one group scales an adjacent building to snipe while the other group storms the garage on foot. It's almost like a mini heist.

But then the people I was with just started blowing up the briefcase.

Doing the same mission over and over and over and over and over again is fun? I believe you have issues understanding what bitching is (which means complaining if you need clarification), and what answering a question is. It's my honest opinion is that I think it's abnormally sad and lonely to dedicate the amount of time people are sacrificing to replay the same f*cking mission for hours upon hours. Not bitching, just facts.

When people ask Rockstar constantly for new features and lots of content, why does everyone jump on the first exploit and do the same thing repeatedly? They should have given you all a version of the game that only featured one easy and quick mission with a high payout for you to play for the rest of your lives and maybe the servers would work better.

The fact these people will soon be posting about how there is nothing to do in GTA:O will be bitching.

Yep, I do missions and races with my crew all the time and i'm already level 34 and still going at a pretty fast rate. Now if only the servers would work all the time, then I could connect to jobs more often and level up even faster.

I'm just taking my time, rank 15 now and been on it a few days. No point in rushing things as it spoils it for yourself when there is nothing left to unlock.

There is nothing more special than any asian type MMORPG (like Lineage, for instance), where you go to one location, beat mobs until they give you no more xp, then move to another location - rinse and repeat ad nauseam. Even the darling WOW and SWTOR have dailies, which are just a way of saying "the same sh*t each day until we give you new sh*t to do day by day until we..."

There is nothing wrong to identify the best xp/money/whatever per hour and use it, if one so wishes. You get what you work for...

Fun is subjective. I have more fun playing a game with everything unlocked from the start than I do slowly earning those things. I did my grinds in GTA Online because I wanted my car to be fully customized and have an appearance that I was happy with. I have fun driving around in my car. I wouldn't have fun driving around in some dinky thing just because it was the only thing that I could get. I'm not asking Rockstar for new features. I'm happy just goofing around and playing golf with people. I'm level 65, but I still do missions that barely do anything for me because I have fun doing them. Grinding isn't a bad thing and you need to get it out of your head.
