Bounty Hunter and Apartment Issue !

Hello folks

 

Let's me explain that before i wrote this post, GTA online is amazing game and I really appricated rockstars efforts to develop such an outstanding title.

 

however, i want to explain something that's pissing me off, not only me, even my crew members who felt this need to be adressed, before i talk let me tell you my story

on GTAO (PS3)

i was parked near zancudo airport then i paused my game to navigate the map, then a guy came across me and killed me, i descovered that the car i already stole the npc asshole had puttin me as a bounty, it's good and fun system, so i decided to put him as bounty for 3000$, then this guy run over and many players try to catch him, he then enter to his apartment and just sit there !! i buzz his apertment but ofc he wont allow me in, we just play and ignore him, i really didn't expect the apartment is just a way to hide from everything in the game, you wont get hurt and if you have an apartment and someone set a bounty over your head, you already won.

later on, i also joined another game sesion, i saw someone marked as a bounty i drove quickly to him, i just found him also in his/her apartment, serously !! this really unfair !!

i hope thier will be patch that, anyone had been put a bounty over his head, shouldn't be allowed to enter to his/her apartment, or at least make a way to assualt his house or forced deathmatch if this impossible, but i think not allowing him is easy and quick !!

i'm already didn't liked the passive mode, but again this apartment sh*t that allow some players hiding like rats isn't fun or fair at all, it's just feeding the troll players, my friend told me someone had texted him the f word from his apartment !!

don't allow anyone who had spotted as bounty to enter or hide in his apartment at least !! this break the fun and the challange aspect of the game

Right. And it's not fun for them to sit there half an hour either, so consider it even I guess.

I could've sworn I've had bounties wear off during survival matches. I don't think you have to sit in your apartment.

 

Even then, you can spectate other players from your apartment via the TV for entertainment.

 

On whether it's fair or not, sorry but I don't like being killed and having bounties put on me by randoms I did nothing to. It's completely fair in my opinion.

It's completely fair for people to hide in their apartments. It's not called a safehouse for nothing. Why should I have to put up with other players trying to kill me because some random npc felt like putting a bounty on me for things like scratching the paint on his/her car or jacking a car 30 missions or so prior to when I got my bounty? I say suck it up and go do a mission or rob a few stores if you're that desperate for money.

 

As for players putting bounties on me out of anger/frustration in me killing them randomly or while defending myself, i'll just stay right up in my place so they can't have their revenge and I make free money after 30-45 minutes and make them even angrier.

Well the bounty lasts for 48 RL minutes so if they have to hide in their apartment all that time then so be it. Whilst in there they aren't out earning money so they are also losing out by staying in doors

the apartment is a safe house and the point of a safe house is to well, be safe. if you can get yourself back to your apartment you should be safe from the bounty IMO.

I've had a couple of bounties on me for absolutely no reason, never even got near a player before the bounty. SImply couldn't be bothered to constantly run/fight so I retreat to my apartment which has a TV in it, and watch people circling my house then getting killed by the bounty I place on them. It really is too easy if you have an apartment.

 

I've also avoided one by constantly joining jobs and spending as little time as possible in free roam. Solo sessions also kill off the bounty which is a bit silly billy

Watching the TV really is quite amusing and easy to pass the time, quite the opposite of ruining MY game experience. That may ruin YOURS but I'm very thankful that I'm not you.

 

I'm placing a bounty on them for relentlessly pursuing me when I want to mind my own business as I was before (of course they are going to come after me but I don't want them there), not for absolutely no reason whatsoever as has happened with me.

You seem like you're another one of those children who rage on the mic when they die and cannot get revenge. Bonus points if you're foreign. Btw, what's "appartment"? I said apartment. I say I do it to make people rage more, which from your reaction, seems to be successful when you're not even in my game, lol.

Last time I checked, there's always people "randomly killing", so excuse me for playing the game I paid for. As for the "hide like a pussy", I stated my reasons which tons of others share in that aspect. I do it because npc bounties are lame, and it's fun listening to people (mostly children) rage on the mic, and it's also fun getting threat texts in-game or even hate mail PSN messages. It's also quite fun watching people on my tv do things, and also watch the fail bounty hunters set a sticky bomb trap outside my house.

You can also quit and start a solo session while waiting for your bounty to dissappear. Most annoying sh*t ever.
