bakinsammyk
Ok, so I've been reading everything and looking around at things and then flying arond wondering how all this info tied together. Then it all dawned on me. Everyone has been ignoring the colours. On the curbs. In windows, on the ground, lights and even the stars (sniper aim at the from obervatory and zoom in. The markings on the mountains. They are all coloured. They all correspond to something. So far there are red, blue, yellow, orange, green, blue and purple. I think there are also black and white. These colours and lights form hidden charts on the map. You just need to view them from a perfect angle. I think this is connected to why the hidden UFO's can only be seen from certain angles. To see what I'm talking about fly a chopper around at night. At varying heights. When you are around the right height, some sort of music plays. Different coulurs become visible from diferent heights and angles. For clues on where to fly, go to the airport down south and hover at different heights with the helicopter. You should be able to see two red runways. These represent the aeroplanes. You should also be a able to see a yellow aeroplane pointing north with yellow lights. This indicates a path for the helicopter. There is also a green part that runs in the opposite direction to one of the red runway paths. There are also two helicopter runways near the near trevors hanger as well. This stuff is also tied to the end credits. In one of the scenes the camera slowly moves up and over the sculpture that the helicopter runway goes over. In addtion to this, if you watch the end credits closely, you can tell that most scenes are shot from the perspective of a vehicle. You can tell which one by the way the camera pans. If it a helicopter is required, the scene in the end credits will move in a way that only a helicopter can. Same with the aeroplane scenes. Note what appears to be an aeroplane flown out of the particularly long tunnel. Looks fun. The end credits show quite a a few places where hidden charts and glyphs can be found. You just need to fly in the correct vehicle at the correct time of day. There is dawn, daylight, sunset and night time. Different things and differnt times at different angles. Bridges light up red at night from the corret angle. So red is for aeroplanes. Yellow for helicopters. This also ties to the glyphs that have been found. The colour of the glyphs had been ignored to an extent. They indicate which vehicle will be used to see the special chart that the glyphs are alluding to. This may also tie to which character needs to use the vehicle. There is a large three piece mural in los santos that is on three buildings together. on close inspection they look like some boy band. But if you look at the far away from the correct angle in the helicopter, they look like Trevor, Michael and Franklin. Trevor is orange and yellow. Michael is blue and red. Franklin is green and purple/pink. The two colour charts I have seen the most clearly are yellow charts. One is near the wind farm when the sun hits the mountain. However, I'm rubbish at flying. I can get the angle right. I can se parts of it, but I can't line it up perfectly. I have a feeling that when you fly at night, there is some sort of helicopter path which illuminates from a certain angle. I think you need to fly this path in the dawn light to get the yellow chart to fully reveal itself. I think what it reveals is the chiliad mural pasted over the mountain and surrounding area below. My theory is there are many ways to superimpose the chiliad mural over the gta 5 map. Not just top down or perpendicular to the map, but in 3d in all kinds of ways. But that part is just a theory. There is a UFO that looks like it's part of a restaurant roof in Los Santos. At night, if you jump on it, it shows blue green and orange rings on it (Trevor, MIchael Franklin). My theory is that it is a point where three superimposed chiliad murals intersect at the same point. They all share a common UFO. This could mean that a UFO isn't always at the top of a superimposed chart. It could be at the base if there are many ways to superimpose. Anyway, back to fact. We need good pilots to fly these height and angle sensitive paths at the right time of day so we can get good views of eaxtly what these hidden colour charts are showing us. I've sen pieces of red yellow and green charts on the ground and on different sides of mountains. Some mountains have different colours on different sides. I think blue is for the ocean charts. Not sure about white ones yet, but there is an interesting symbol above the diner with the purple dinosaur next to it. It's on the power lines. There are also other white light on large power lines. So there. I busted the code, you guys do flying. Also, I haven't 100% yet. I've finished the yellow story missions and am about 80% on the rest. My belief is when all the colour charts have been accurately viewed and possibly activated (might need the alien car and the epsilon tractor), then the final activation will happen with Michael on Mt Chiliad, Franklin with the green ufo and trevor with the hippy UFO. Then all kinds of hell is going to break loose. Other interesting stuff. Go the the observitory and look around the area with the eye monument statue. There is metal in the middle of the footpath that surrounds it. The whole place will open up to reveal or unleash something massive. On the UV special map, where trevor has written "Under the rock face". Go right to the bottom of it. There is a locked door to the mountain. There are other doors like this. Like the one in the ocean, the one in the desert. When the big final activation happens, all these cool things are going to open up or change. Now go get me my ride on dinosaur!! GamerShotgun
The colors could refer to DLC protagonists, as Blue, Orange, and Green are the colors of the three main characters (Michael, Trevor and Franklin). But that's just a wild guess. I'm guessing because You've mentioned three extra colors (purple, red, yellow) and since there's three slots on the character selection wheel, it could mean that the revealing of the final, big Easter Egg could be character, or DLC specific. If I remember correctly, Rockstar stated that there's no way we are figuring out all the myths in the game, which could back up my THEORY (it's not a fact for me, just a guess) on why we can't figure out the solution for the Mount Chiliad mural. Also there's something in the desert(?), a landmark or I don't really know what it is, which has numerous colors painted on the ground if I remember right. I'll snap a picture with my cellphone as soon as I can, so you'll know what I'm talking about. Though someone told me that Rockstar've stated that there won't be any story DLCs, for GTAV, like the ones for IV... I hope that's not true though, since the single player campaign was freakin' short. (Even with watching all of the cutscenes).Screenies Edited October 7, 2013 by MasterK
tresshold
#DowntownVinewood #WestVinewood you mean this ufo? maybe its much simpler like: complete true 100% and it will unlock a fast spawn that gets you anywhere over the map in seconds. just like the taxi works but then in the form of a UFO. They said that some of the easter eggs are so obscure that they'll probably go unnoticed. By that, they meant references to obscure movies and so on, not super-ultra-hidden-secrets. Notice how there are quite a few references to movies in the easter eggs that were found... Heck, the mural itself could be a reference to something that most of us don't even know (an indie movie or anything along these lines). PS.: Since we're talking about colors... Did anyone notice the blinking red light inside of a room in the Epsilon building? Edited October 7, 2013 by williamcampbell
bakinsammyk
Ok, so what did you guys want to know? The door below the rock face is looked. So it's not that interesting yet. Do you need any more info? Most of what I was referring to is finding the hidden colour charts on the map.
