I'm trying to make two points:

Thirdly, GTA Online AT THIS MOMENT Isn't Why is there a captial "I" here? even a Beta Beta shouldn't have a capital "B" unless it's a title/part of a title or the beginning of the sentence. At best it can be called an Alpha Read the beta stuff. This is the FIRST TIME R* has EVER attempted an Online game of this magnitude, so OF COARSE "course" there is going to be ALOT of hiccups along the way. And MAJOR ones at that.

 

Lastly, "Protecting these fa**ots"? LOL, more like enjoyment at watching you Rage Why is there a captial "R" here? over a Why is there a captial "V" here? Video game. You should be in bed shouldn't you? Don't you have school tomorrow?

 

On that note, you MIGHT want to go Study Why is there a captial "S" here? grammar.... and English.... lol

I'm trying to make two points here:

  1. Don't call someone out on their grammar, if yours isn't correct in the first place
  2. Don't be so f*cking pretentious and pedantic, you can clearly read the post and comprehend what it says, just like I can with yours, even with the many grammatical errors. Having good grammar doesn't make you better than someone. My grammar is pretty good (not perfect) but I know there are people out there with terrible grammar that are still more intelligent than me.

 

 

My grammar isn't perfect either bud, and nowhere in any of my posts did I say that is was.

 

 

Than stop talking sh*t about my grammar on my earlier post.

My first character is fine and and my second on the other account got deleted so it's random, one survived and one didn't , and no I haven't made a new character on the second account I'm still waiting to see if they can recover it but I think it's highly unlikely.

I have been saying this from DAY 1... People don't listen and lie thru there teeth and blame Rockstar saying they never made a new character. I call bullsh*t.

I thought earlier that I had lost my character, but after calling R* they told me it isn't a bug, they are adding and moving their servers around. So I waited a couple hours and BAM, my character was back, with everything I had before I "thought" I lost him.

 

You will only lose your character IF you make a new one in the same character slot, as that new character overwrites that particular slot.

 

Hope this helps out those that are frustrated with their characters disappearing.

 

I chose to make a new character but quitted immediately, Now its gone entirely from social and game. Rockstar support just said they are dealing with it in email. Ive made about 10 characters, how can they be sure to restore the right one?

How am I crying? I was clearly telling you and all the other bullsh*t theorists that their theory's are exactly that bullsh*t, you saying don't hit retry it deletes your character is a bullsh*t theory that I proved isn't correct,

 

I was offline when the servers went down and one character got deleted and the other one didn't, ITS RANDOM.

 

Also my highest lvl character is still playable and even if it wasn't I wouldn't be bothered, until they fix this there's no point in trying to take this game seriously.

Yes, we know you got the short end of the stick because of Rockstar's bullsh*t cloud.

 

What some of us are trying to say is we need to be patient, many others have had there characters reappear including myself countless times.

 

Maybe you didn't overwrite your slot with a new character, but that doesn't mean it's gone entirely.

 

Keep trying to restart your system, or sign out of your GT/PSN. If you did NOT make a new character in your mains slot like you have said, it will eventually come back. Character data doesn't just magically delete on it's own, there has to be criteria for physical loss of data... Server crashes and instability might affect said data, but there is signs of Rockstar having a backup database.

Thirdly, GTA Online AT THIS MOMENT Isn't Why is there a captial "I" here? even a Beta Beta shouldn't have a capital "B" unless it's a title/part of a title or the beginning of the sentence. At best it can be called an Alpha Read the beta stuff. This is the FIRST TIME R* has EVER attempted an Online game of this magnitude, so OF COARSE "course" there is going to be ALOT of hiccups along the way. And MAJOR ones at that.

 

Lastly, "Protecting these fa**ots"? LOL, more like enjoyment at watching you Rage Why is there a captial "R" here? over a Why is there a captial "V" here? Video game. You should be in bed shouldn't you? Don't you have school tomorrow?

 

On that note, you MIGHT want to go Study Why is there a captial "S" here? grammar.... and English.... lol

I'm trying to make two points here:

  1. Don't call someone out on their grammar, if yours isn't correct in the first place
  2. Don't be so f*cking pretentious and pedantic, you can clearly read the post and comprehend what it says, just like I can with yours, even with the many grammatical errors. Having good grammar doesn't make you better than someone. My grammar is pretty good (not perfect) but I know there are people out there with terrible grammar that are still more intelligent than me.

My slot1 character is gone, made a new character on slot2, still no luck with my level 25 slot1 character coming back, I'd say it's GONE

What some of us are trying to say is we need to be patient, many others have had there characters reappear including myself countless times.

Ok I can see you're not a complete dipsh*t like the op , but I think you don't understand who's side I'm on, I'm saying that there is no evidence to show that pressing retry deletes you're character and as I was offline when one of my characters got deleted so there was no interference on my end , also I don't care if my character comes back I'm not taking this game seriously till it's fixed Edited by CaptainChronicV
