Yeah, full of sh*t. My character is back, but he's a level 1, with some skills half way increased (they was full before it vanished).

yes my high ranked charator is deleted, the cloud has been back up for my for a while now and still no character. I read somewhere that rockstar are deleting charactors to make room for new players, Its beggers belief if true, to hell with us who have been with them since the game launch, seriously sort out your sh*t rockstar

If you don't believe what I have to say, then good for you. But its still YOUR FAULT. YOU corrupted YOUR character by Spam tapping retry when the cloud servers were down. Once again YOUR FAULT.

 

 

That's about the dumbest thing that i have heard in a while. So when I use a normal ingame function to try and connect to a server, and a week later that might have caused a problem... then thats MY FAULT ??? Of course Rockstar can't do anything about their lacking programming skills.... every problem we have with ingame bugs is the fault of the users, not the ones that actually made this game.. We gamers didn't corrupt anything, if this game was any good, corrupting you character would be IMPOSSIBLE!!

Rockstar f*cked up, and they f*cked up bad. The online is sh*t, and their cloud solution sucks. It will take some time to make it work as intended. I just wished they handled it properly and put the word "Beta" behind the release. Then people wouldn't be bitching but just reporting bugs.

1 billion is the money they made in 3 days, this does NOT reflect online players. And yes, we do realise no launch is going to be perfect with that many people playing, but we are FAR past that point. This has nothing to do with server load, but with bad netcode, and a cloud solution that has more leaks than a sieve.

 

The only reports coming from Rockstar is warning people what NOT to press, and where NOT to go.This is not solving anything, that is just fueling the fire because it's just more proof the server infrastructure and software were nowhere near ready. But again we can only make assumptions.

 

The problem I have is that Rockstar is making their problem ours, and that is not how the world works.

1. Don't call someone out on their grammar, if yours isn't correct in the first place
2. Don't be so f*cking pretentious and pedantic, you can clearly read the post and comprehend what it says, just like I can with yours, even with the many grammatical errors. Having good grammar doesn't make you better than someone. My grammar is pretty good (not perfect) but I know there are people out there with terrible grammar that are still more intelligent than me.

That is exactly the way kids act. They are not being "butthurt", they are upset at their time/progress wasted, and understandably so. Just because you haven't experienced any issues doesn't mean they are wrong for being upset.

 

And telling them not to play is stupid because they are upset because they WANT to play. You just come across as a selfish kid the way you act.

 

[edit] I know you ment well with the post, but that doesn't mean you can just insult people. And No this is not their fault, this is all R*'s fault. They're responsible for what happens to your data in the cloud. If we were banned for bad conduct THEN it would be our fault.

Anyways back on topic, so earlier i discovered that my character was deleted, i checked the social site and my character overview was reset, it said i was rank 1 blah blah blah, i check the crew online page and it also showed i was rank 1 (was 30 prior).

 

So forward a few hours, i just checked now and my crew online page now says im level 30 again. it shows my RP points as well. But my character overview shows that im still level 1.

 

So i think there may be just random events happening with the servers and site. Maybe theyre in the process of fixing or resetting some things. not sure, but its hope i guess.

Can you not read? In my FIRST post I explicitly stated my character Disappeared and reappeared hours later. So Yes I have experienced these issues. I just had the patience to call R* and not start raging over the internet.
