A week has now gone by

7 days since I last booted up GTAO.

 

Judging from all the problems still going around on the forums (loss of characters,cash, properties)

 

Im not like most of the people on here by still try to play the game knowing FULL WELL that these problems exist and come crying to the forums.

 

I cant beleive its been a full week and its still unplayable though.

Prolly Rock* did it all on purpose.

They all sit in front of their PC's now laughing their asses off about the Community going apesh*t about Server Problems that are caused by them monkeys they hired for Server Maintenance.

the games been working fine for me. only glitch happening is lagging cars. a cargobob doing wheelies in the street (wut?) and the car dupe glitch.

The game is far from unplayable. I've enjoyed it for the past 4 days no lag, no connection issues, no character deleting. Certain people are getting different connections from the server.. I for one believe you should try it, as the game is bloody fantastic.

I'm also very surprised that its still this bad. Fan boys can hate on cod all they want but they wouldn't be caught dead with their servers acting like this for an entire week, it would ruin them.

Didn't realize Rockstar was making the same game every year and had access to years of stress testing.

I beleive the game will be very fun but untill they patch it im not stupid enough to create a character to only get deleted

I have had my character since Day 2. 247k Apartment, 10-car garage. All on PS3.

I've had some fun the last few days in the afternoon... But once Evening hits, the servers go down... Real pain in the ass since I'm back at work now...

 

No idea what's going on with my character either... Social says my online character is rank 0 with 0 time played, however It still says I have 65k money, and my win loss ratio for things... WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!?

Why does everyone on these forums keep saying anyone who doesnt currently hate Rockstar is a fanboy?

I mean its pretty lousy that people keep having game breaking bugs. But not everyone is having them. Some people are playing the game as intended without issues, so they dont feel the hate. I mean we can sympathize, because this sh*t sounds crazy frustrating, but thats it.

I tried for the first 4 days and haven't touched it since.

I'm at the point at which I don't even want to play it now. Rockstar was beyond useless with this online launch. I haven't seen a multiplayer launch this bad since... well ever.

I have the same problem. I think we will get a characters back soon as long as you don't create another and overwrite it. I've heard a lot about it happening to other people but the time it takes to reconcile the character varies. Some people get it back within hours and some people had to wait a couple of days. It's whether you really want to play, I mean we do still have our money. I just created another character in a different slot and hopefully it won't overwrite but I'm not really going to care if it does. I feel like rank doesn't hold me back from what I want to do but obviously some people have their play style's and might need to be a certain rank to get certain things.

I haven't created a new character once, the way I see it, if it's down, what's the point in playing offline if it aint gonna save?
