Invest or No on The Big Score?

I read that we should invest gold coast before the big score.

But some disagreed. So should I ?!?

I've read you should invest in the Gold Coast stocks when you do the The Construction Assassination mission, which Lester gives you playing as Franklin.
Don't know about the Big Score mission though...seeing that Gold Coast is a real estate company.

There's no specific stock directly associated with the Big Score. Well, that's not entirely true:

 

- Merryweather stock will crash big-time after the Big Score. But you shouldn't have been investing in them anyway at all.

 

- It does seem like Augury insurance (AUG) begins to climb steadily immediately after the Big Score. For me AUG was around $4 before the Big Score, and climbed to about $7 a few in-game days afterward, when I cashed out. I'm checking it now and see that it has continued to climb above $9, so I should have held onto it a bit longer before selling!

 

(Unless AUG's increase was caused by all the destruction I am now able to unleash with my big wad of cash. Some people claim AUG rises with destruction in the world. I'm not sure.)

Yeah, AUG doubled for me, went from 88 to 174.

After you do the final heist...go all in with your characters on the Augury Insurance stock company. Once you do the main end mission after the heist the stock will soar and you will make bank (you will see this increase after the credits roll and you go back to your characters).
