My Only Two Gripes with Online

All glitches, resets, etc.. Aside since those will be patched looking into the future.

 

1. Lack of animals - was really looking forward to hunting with my crew. Not to mention the emptiness in Blaine county now. I miss the ambiance they provided, especially the sharks in the ocean.

 

2. LS Airport emptiness- why is the airport in online so empty? There are no planes landing or taking off like in GTA IV, plus all of the airport vehicles like the airtug and ripley are missing. The airport is just dull. I can't find any dozers either, which I was looking forward to using on other players. ( if I'm wrong and this is in game, let me know)

 

P.S. - has anyone found either version of the tow truck in online?

Yeah, the animals being gone is disheartening... but on the upside, I won't feel like a turd for accidentally running a dog over now, so there's that.

I'm noticing a ton of deficiencies compared to SP. No animals, no people or cars, empty feeling everywhere.

 

Lower rez textures, many sacrifices. Water is much worse (because it looks so good in SP, beautiful).

 

These are the trade offs though, no harm done it's still great between deletions.

I did enjoy hunting cougars and boar though in SP. Plus the deer, birds and coyotes just added in some great life in empty areas. Same with the sharks and fish in the empty ocean.

 

I know there are trade offs, but I just feel that I'd rather have animals than arm wrestling, for example.

 

Hopefully a next gen version is released so all of these tradeoffs can be added in.

In regards to the planes and the airport, as you level you quietly unlock better vehicles and when you go back to these places they show up. I think around lvl 12 or so is when the first plane and heli really start to spawn frequently for you. I assume it only gets better.

That is entirely possible, maybe the airport is full of life by later ranks. Still, rockstar should find a way to add animals to online, once all of the server issues are fixed.
