Tips for ranking up? Please Read.

Hey guys, I am pretty much a noob on gta online. I am level 9 currently and I was just wondering how to rank up the fastest? Do you yall do quick jobs, kill for bounties, do you just spam request job from gerald and simeon? I'm just having trouble figuring out how people rank up quickly. Also, before you could request job from sim and gerald I basically just got aggravated because I was limited to playing quick jobs or robbing stores all day. Anyways, just please let me know what to do to rank up at an average to above average pace please.

I am not kidding with this..assuming you are of legal drinking age, get black out drunk, lose track of time, and play missions til the sun comes up.

... To do any mission you only have to have a level 15 start it/host. They can leave and your lvl 9 could then host but you could still play. Try not being such a rude douche to people trying to help you man. Ask for invites and GT's, make friends, play nice, etc.

The quickest, lowest-cost, and easiest way to get cash and RP is to do races. If you just want RP, do the races by yourself. If you want cash, just do a "quick job" and join a race.

I highly recommend flying races. They are a much bigger payout than car races and I believe the biggest out of bicycles and boats as well. They're also great fun. But seriously races of all kinds are fantastic ways to lvl up and get money especially since you can't die and lose $1000 or whatever the amount is

Alright thanks for the good reply guys. I guess Im just not really a race guy in this game. I've just been grinding missions from gerald and simeon. Don't really need a ton of cash, I have 110k and I am only level 11. That is due to characters being deleted and money getting carried over to the next character. Racing myself might be good for getting a few levels, I have done that but it is extremely boring. But any other methods or tips would be appreciated, thanks.

Anyway you gotta make friends man. Gotta have some level headed people to do missions wiht. Doing them with randoms is a crap shoot and will likely waste HOURS of your time. Just go into the game and talkt o people and make friends with higher ranks than you. Then you can play their higher ranked missions that pay more $ and rp.

Yeah man I'll try that, it's a little tough though considering a lot of people especially in free roam mode are a bunch of 5 year olds or dudes just trying to kill you all day. I've made a few buds through random matchmaking for missions. I'm in a few crews too but there not really that organized and nobody plays with each other.

Its hard because most of the good players will have the room muted. So its hard to find good players. They are there but they limit their mic to friends only most of the time.

 

I just did a survival with 2 friends and we got a random dude who was pretty good with us. Just gotta sift through the garbage.lol

RACES. Seriously. Just do races.

Also there is a mission from Gerald somethiing Scrapyard something, pays 3k, and decent RP aswell, and it's really fast

Yeah that is what I am doing. Currently level 15 and trying to get violent duct from gerald. Doing the same missions over and over and over gets a little boring but I am trying to push through it lol.

Yeah its great and everything but totally lame and boring. I will do it for a little while but after a few races it just feels so boring. Like I said, I do it a few times to get some good xp or if I need to get a level or two but I can't do it past 3 or 4 races. Just too boring.

I don't do any sort of efficient powerlevelling, i play for fun, but this is how i usually do

 

First, i do some Races (i prefer Bikes or Supercars! I love doing the Prison-Race as well) with the Friends and Crew,

then try a Survival and see how it goes (with right strategy and teamwork it works well), then we do some DeathMatches (the Team DeathMatch in the Hotel is fun!) and by then i've gotten hundred messages on my Cell about Missions people need help with (Violent Duck, La Hoy Bronca, Mixed up With Pepsi and whatnot)

 

So i usually end up helping people with their Missions
