For people with deleted characters, do you visit social site?

Might have a theory, but i want to know if for those who had their characters deleted, have you visited the site or visit often?

visit multiple times a day both before and after my character was deleted 3 days ago. No change.

My theory is , i think visiting the site might cause problems that will delete your character.

Im trying to figure out a way to make a poll or distinguish the people who have deleted characters and how often they visit the site, comparing to the ones who still have their characters currently and have not visited the site.

 

Unless theres a handfull of people that have deleted characters and dont visit the site as well.

Visit a few times a day, my char has always been fine.... Untill today...

 

when i logged out last night, i shut it down as suggested as always (really didnt want to lose my char). Went to log on not long ago via story, "Cloud servers down", so i just sat in story mode and would try every 10 or so mins, same message. Left it in story mode for the last 20 mins while i made some food, tried again. Char select screen, no chars there what so ever.

 

There goes my lvl 28, 300k appartment and 400k cash (not alot no, but frustrating none the less)

Yes I've been checking since I was deleted. My social network stats were not up to date but still showed up to about level 30. Character deleted and about an hour or so later all the players stats are gone the the social. It still displays I made over a million dollars and what I spent, that's about it. On the player select screen it says my crew and still shows $78k in my bank so I'm hoping its just the server being down. However I may have made it worse because at that screen I kept trying to get back online and it took me back to single player so I'm beginning to think it saved over my file.

Prior to being deleted I was only on the site once period and that was it. So I don't think your theory would apply to me

FWIW the deleting of characters was happening before the GTA online stats section of social club went live so i don't think there's a connection.

The site has NOTHING to do with deleted characters. The cloud communicates data to the social club site, that's it. Besides, how could looking at your stats delete your charcter?

Your theory does make a little sense because out of all my friends only mine got deleted and as far as I know I'm the only one that checks the social club everyday.
