You can still play without saving but for me personally, I can not access my original lvl 39 through cloud still.

 

So yes, they are down i think.

I would avoid it. R* claimed on their support site this may be the cause of some missing player items like cash, cars, etc.

Wen I go from single player to online, I receive no indication the cloud servers are down. I'm in Canada?

 

Amybe they take them down for maintenance by region?

I also get no notice servers are down. Woke up to a guy gone today, just had a new guy vanish again with no indication of servers being down. Erased from SC as well. Making one more guy now, then walking away for a few days so they can sort this crap out.

f*ck me dead if the servers are down just wait, I don't understand how you can lose characters do you not read the "Continue WITHOUT saving". it's a not rocket science.

You haven't read any of the thousands of other topics, have you? People are losing their characters WITHOUT continuing without saving.
