Canis Mesa offroad in online?

Is it in GTAO anywhere? I saw it in Ft Zancudo when we did Top Fun. But even if it's in there outside of the mission, can you get it out?

No, you cant. The only way to get it is in singleplayer, during the Wrap up mission.

Yes it is, once you get a high enough level, call Merriweather and call the mercenaries on a friend and they roll up in Canis Mesa Offroad

I first saw them in "Base Invaders", then again in "By Land, Air & Sea"... there, I had my crew mates hold up on the mission while I drove one back to my garage to see if I could drive it in, I couldn't... BUT, and this is a huge BUT... When they finished the mission I was driving it... and after warping back to the live session I still was. Now that suckers sitting in my garage and its a beast. You can mod it a bit with all the basic upgrades like lights, wheels, engine, ect... though the default wheels and tires are a bit larger than the off-road tires you can buy in the shop. It also has secondary color options for the roll cage.

As far as getting it, just try and repeat what I did. Though I'm not sure if it wasn't all luck or a glitch that spawned me back in the drivers seat... You could try "Base Invaders" but getting it out of the base with all that heat around might be too much. I got this at lvl 36 and leveled up to 37 after the mission, which then unlocked the mercs CrankinSteel mentioned, though I haven't used them yet it may be a simpler way to obtain the Mesa Off-Road.

I'm a ways away from that level yet. I've got a friend who is almost high enough now so we could try the Merryweather Mercs route.

I'm a little late here obviously, but I just found one last night being driven by a pedestrian. I stole it and took it to LS Customs, it's now in my garage.

 

I found it around Strawberry Ave, sort of downtown area.

I got my two jeeps while doing the mission where you have to steal the cargobob. I had help of 2 friends who did the mission, and i stole a jeep and jumped out of the base. There are these white-red "ramp" thingys at the end of the airfield, with the correct use you can use them to jump out. We did that 3 times, two for me and one for a friend. The other one hates that car, i dont know why.

I finally got mine from the land,air,sea mission from lester

were you steal the two heli's off the rooftop you i did it with 4 people they stole the choppers

i just stole a mesa and drove back to my garage

*****if you cant remember where your garage/apt is pull up the real estate site on your phone and you can still get directions to your property so it will set a waypoint *****

honestly i think if you could do the job alone, ride up on merryweather, steal a mesa, drive it to garage and keep going back and getting more if you wanted more than one bc the mission isnt timed....

i almost had enough time to drive back and steal a second one before they got there with the choppers

I tried the titan mission, shot up two jeep fulls of mercs to only find that the game would not let me get into the mesa ? wtf ? tried to chase one that was headed out of the airport, gate opened for them but i was stuck in the airport

I got Mesa today , did Base invaders with my friend, he drove the cargobob, while i was in the army base being inside the mesa, when the mission passed, i got spawned outside with the mesa This works for the mission you have to steal those two helis on the roof. There are lots of Mesa jeeps at the ground. Make you friend drive 1 heli (destroy the other heli, if you are only 2) and sit in the car.

 

Edit: If there are two helis i think you have to fly both to Lester's warehouse, so destroy 1 of them just in case.

Finally found the cage less one today, no mercy no mission just rolling by sion ' looked like a regular fake jeep thing then I saw the name on back. Now I have all 3. HELL YEAH!

I got 5 or 6, the first one has stock wheels but painted in yellow to go along with the yellow body paint. They patched the ability to change the colour of stock wheels so I got a few more to play around with other colours.
