What I just realized about gtao

After my character was deleted today (lvl39 with all the whistles and bells that go along with 36 he sessions with no sleep) I was mad. Really mad! As I sit here drinking makers mark (straight like a man SHOULD drink) something washed over me like a tidal wave straight outta that meatloaf song every loves but won't admit because hey it's meatloaf. I was more than perfectly content playing single player. Then gtao hit and I got a taste of robbing stores and and accidentally meleeing my crew members to death and and having "me" as a character in Los santos. The boss of bosses. My very own tony Montana (or soprano depending on your taste) I was hooked. There I was a white boy from a low class family making it with a penthouse sweet a badass car and more money than I knew how to spend! That's when it happened. It all came crashing down like I was a bad guy and a typical Hollywood movie. The man (aka rockstars cloud server) came and took it all away. How could one man who rose from the ashes of nothing fall so far so fast? Then it all made sense. RockStar sucks at multiplayer. /rant

Ok so im guessing when you git the message that "cloud servers are down, would you still like to continue without saving?" you clicked yes and made a new temporary character over your saved main character slot (slot 1 im assuming) therefore you overwrote your main save. like a dummy

Your character should be saved and you should only lose the data you accumulated playing while the servers are down. You probably f*cked up while you were drunk.

This guy on the other hand wis obviously a Internet tough guy questioning people's manhood because I made a referance to drinking whiskey straight. He must drink fruity drinks because he was offended and felt the need to defend his Bahama mama drinking self. But that's not what this post was about, I digress, it's more about RockStar having 5 years and 3 weeks to get it right but failing in the worst possible way.
