I pressed Retry and after doing that it asked me to make a new character and now any time i try join a friends session it says i can't till i make a character and have to if i try go in by myself.

 

If I have to start over i'm not wasting my time, they can give me my character back or get lost. Simples, this is a mess they've had almost a week and they knew from day one there'd be a ton of people on the servers.
