i think you get a periodic reward of GTA$1000 (or whatever the gta:o currency is called) but im not sure on how long you wait between each reward..

i played alot of IV online, and when i heard about the Good Bad Sport, and Passive mode, i was like awsome, solves the main problem with IV online,,, Team Running you over ..... but wait...... you can still get run over.... WTF

Blah, no worries if you're trying to avoid others, I always did it in IV(care to guess why?). Normally I can go around and do it as payback but I quit after some time and rob stores an' sh!t.

If everything you say is true then I feel for you. I'm sure R* are getting a lot of complaints about this so they'll have to address it sooner or later.

 

I weirdly want to get a bad sport rating though now just so I can take a glimpse at GTAO's dark side.

And the good sport rewards are pathetic. To the point it's not even worth playing nice. Maybe if they offered a legit incentive for playing nice like a 5 or 10K reward a lot of these problems wouldn't exist.

 

But you know. Micro Transactions wont sell themselves...

Oh and how it is a Hell indeed. I mean, I know that people on the Internet are assholes, but this, this is where they come from, this is where they breed.

 

 

But it does give people that are assholes a place, I mean I do have a tendency to grief from time to time, I suffer from a terrible infliction that allows me to take pleasure in killing and destruction, hell I even love rolling up when a guy is robbing a store, and instead of killing him, I pop all his tires before he's finished robbing the store, and then I just follow him at a distance watching him slide everywhere, eventually getting himself killed.

 

Now that, might deserve being put into the bad sport servers.. teehee.

Just found a lvl. 45 mission that gives you 18k per go, and it's easier than Violent Duct... O_O Guess becoming a bad sport wasn't so bad after all. You can press right trigger to redo a mission after voting.

Not entirely. Quite the opposite. I was ranting at how people who are doing things that would be considered being in bad sport, (Like spawn camping a level 3) actually receive no penalty, while legitimate acts are seen as bad. (Like hunting a bounty.)

I find systems like this pretty sh*tty in the majority of games...

 

When we are talking about a free roam game where the goal is to effectively be a thieving/murdering c*nt, the notion that you can get put into ''bad player'' zones for such actions is ridiculous. The stuff like leaving missions early should maybe come with a 15 minute til you can queue again debuff, as per most online mmos.

 

Should just be a 'block player' option so if someone is a douche you don't need to play with them again if they do something that upsets you.

it is a joke how killing other players labels you a bad sport, isn't that just part of online? if people don't want to be killed go to passive mode. It's also a joke what ISN'T labeled as being a bad sport, like wasting time on missions when everyone else is dead, and exploding friendly vehicles tires to name a couple, this has happened a few times to me. People should be allowed to vote people as bad sports and good sports as well as the automatic system for it. As a side note f*ck the medical bills. it has completely deterred me from doing jobs I am likely to die on because quite often the reward ends up being less than or just over the cost of the medical bills.

Thanks for that R*. Thanks for this horribly broken system of yours... I was doing things YOU told me to do! Every few seconds, you kept requesting to get the high priority export vehicle, eliminate the player with the bounty on his head, C4 the armored truck, etc, etc, etc.... Smh. You would send me texts and call me every 5 minutes about this stuff...

 

Now I either have to play by myself, or with a server full of assholes. And these are the literal assholes. The ones speaking in a very condescending racist tone, or that really annoyingly obnoxious voice. "Ohhh, did I blow up your prwetty little bike?" (He says after he rocket launched your bike as you pulled out of an LS customs.) Waaah, waaaah, pussie pussie pussie pussie pussie." "You're a fa**ot!" "f*ck YOU ni**erS." While they go around the map griefing each other in any way possible, you'd almost think you were watching a group of prepubescent teens playing a death match in CoD together, the screaming, the "LOLOLOLOLOL PHAGGOOOT!" etc,...

 

I've been thrown in with this lot for, A. defending myself, B, removing a high export vehicles escort, (HOW was I supposed to know that, that grey, rusty, unmodified 70's caddy, and brown generic four wheeler, were those twos personal insured vehicles? They looked like jack pick ups!) and C4 an amoured truck. Apparently that's bad somehow... Oh, oh, and God forbid I actually have to leave during a mission for any reason, that was the one that gave me this ridiculous dunce hat for the next 2 days... Guess I gotta play by myself for next couple of days. What is this? My Little Pony? It's called Grand Theft Auto for a reason, we're no moral criminals in a world full of drugs and prostitution. Am I just supposed to ride around in passive mode and hope I don't even so much as look at another player? Oh, and those hospital bills... Can't chase down that guy with a bounty in that cargobob in some kind of epic air chase, might be his personal vehicle, (Or he might kill you, negate the bounty price) already saw a guy with an Annihilator flying around. Can't jump off a building for fun, that will cost you 2k in hospital bills, can't have an impromptu bike race with shotguns, that'll cost tens of thousands in medical bills, no more random good times with people... I get 2k per 15-20m mission, and I can die in an instant, then spawn right next to the guy who killed me, and loose even more money before I manage to escape... Why doesn't he get a bad sport stat? No, but I do for defending myself after he costs me 10k in medical bills...

 

It's like my thread I made earlier raging about this, I do LEGITIMATE, in-game things, and I'm the asshole R*? If someone runs me down over and over again while I'm in passive mode, you God damn right I'm going to pull out a grenade, and blow them up. If someone has the 10k export car, and they have an escort, you Goddamn right I"m going to get rid of it, I don't need a couple of Banshees up my ass while I'm trying to earn some money, and lastly, really, for the first offense? I could see if I left missions constantly, but not the first time... They need to remove bad sport ratings from personal vehicle damage, I mean yeah, I can see making you pay the insurance fee to replace it, but don't re-input the bad sport stat until you have a better system. And last but not least, give lenience to mission drops. Sometimes my game's too laggy to play, sometimes it drops, sometimes I have to take a ragging sh*t, and don't want to be a burden on my team. (Being the last one alive, in a protected place, so they can't win nor lose the match, and have to quit.)

I agree with you OP. Leaving a mission even if it can't be completed labels you a bad sport?? Blowing up some douchebag's car who is harassing you is a bad sport, but following and harassing someone isn't? Being a racist d*ck isn't? I honestly think Rockstar should get rid of that 2k medical bill. We shouldn't get any medical bills, just let us respawn. Most of the missions suck and don't pay well for the effort they expect. If you die once during then forget about it. I can rob several stores and come away with more money than I can doing some of these missions. It's no wonder people are grinding the one or two missions that actually give a real payout.

This game pretty much blows online. The 500 or so missions rockstar claimed would be available from launch. are boring as f*ck and the payout isn't worth the time. Nothing Rockstar really promised, has worked out or been true. Not sure why you are surprised that it would be full of assholes. Welcome to the world of online gaming.
