Scuba gear

I seen you tube sites of showing where one is easy to find

 

 

But I have checked here several times of morning, afternoon and night time and still no boat, even swam all over the area and still no boat. Anyone have other spots to get scuba gear since this one here at docks is not here or in the water area around this dock?

Anyone know of other places to get scuba gear that is 100% there ?

Every time I went there, I was able to find the dinghy with the scuba gear. Sometimes, you need to run around a bit, but it always worked for me. Give it another try.

 

But yeah, there is a guaranteed way to get it. After a certain mission, the sonar dock becomes available for sale. Once you purchase it, a sub will spawn there, and it gives you scuba gear same way that dingy does.

It will show up at that spot after a certain mission (much later) in the game. The best place for the gear is to purchase the Sonar Docks in Palitto bay (spelling?) Once you do that you can drive a fast boat there jump into the sub, now get out and you will have the scuba gear. You can grab the boat that always spawns at the dock (dont remember the name of it, but it only has the one engine so it's not the fastest boat) or grab the boat you took there. As long as you don't hit land you will keep the scuba gear equipt.

 

Then eventually the dinghy will spawn there, though I am not a fan because as soon as you hit exit you jump off the boat. This is bad when sharks are around. At least with other boats you exit and stay on board.

If you take a boat around the lower part of LS you'll come across two rubber boats. One red and one yellow. If you get in one and drive it the next time you get out your character will be equipped with scuba gear.
