I GOT MY LEVEL 34 BACK

i actually got my character back just after the cloud serveice came up for xbox 360. i dont know exactly what happened but i do know that when i lost my character it was NOT replaced with that bald guy and the ear muff things. the slot remained empty since he was lost and was never used again. i deleated all of my gta v data on my xbox since i dont care about the single player. I got the update again and reinstalled the game and after that was done i could not connecxt to the online because it said that the cloud service was unavailable and there was NOT an option to spam X to retry which i thought was odd. After the could servcei came back online maybe 15-20 mins later my level 34 who was in slot 1 and was NOT replaced with a bald guy was restored.

 

i dont know if this will help anybody but i just happy as hell i got my guy back.

Ah you got that weird bald guy with the ear muffs too. I thought that was f*cked up, it had a bald woman's head and a mans body, Jesus it was messed up.

 

Had to make a new character but now he's f*cked off too.

When you lose your character I think its because of the cloud going to sh*t

But if you wait it'll come back as long as you don't make a new character on that slot

Happened to me I waited and my character was back

According to social club I have one of my older characters back. Although he's one of the ones I invested the least time in to.

Congrats on getting your caharcter back but dont expect people who have lost their characters to be very pleasent.

so basically i think if you lose your character and that bald dude replaces him you are f*cked. if you lose your character and the slot is empty then leave it empty!. people may as well deleate the bald guy asap and hope for the best thats what i would do.
