Hopefully early this month, gta5 will be out on digital demand on xbox My disk tray broke, and i cant play disk. Ash_735 Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 As brought up many times, the digital versions have a problem with it all being streamed from one source (The hard drive of course), for PS3 players, if they don't upgrade their hard drive, they get similar streaming problems to those Xbox 360 owners who install both discs to the hard drive. Luckily at least, you can upgrade your drive on PS3 to a faster one which gets rid of these issues but you can not do the same for the Xbox 360. It has been lobbied against for a long time by fans but does not appear to be headed toward any change. Most video games on Xbox Live take about 6 months to arrive for digitial download after their retail store release. Bear in mind, once available for digital download it will still go for the original price even though in-store the game has usually been discounted several times.
