Yeah but usually they're only down for an hour or so tops. This is utterly annoying now. I understand launch problems but I'd rather they take the servers offline and work on them for a day, rather than this up and down stuff.

The worst launch in the history of gaming (yes I remember Simcity and even BF3 was terrible but this game sold more copies and they made huge profit so there are no excuses)

Just playing offline and something came up saying " loading online stats".... my online is back up now and it gave me an option to alter my characters stats and it would be the only time to do so. Not had that one before.

Played with a new second slot character last night till 2:30 PST

Quit to single player and quit game and shut down console

 

9;30 am today Cloud Down. Retry, Retry, Character Select. Both level 13 and level 4 characters are gone.

 

Cloud still down.. Hope it stays down until they work their sh*t out.

Im guessing each Gamer tag is given a random or location based cloud server, so some people can play, some people cant, XBOX or PS wont make a difference to the cloud

I haven't played much today at all. With my buddy losin his character again and jobs not loading when I was on this morning, I think I'm just gonna wait it out a bit for the most part. Probably log on every once in a while to check if I can get some game time, but it's no use getting all worked up over this stuff. I've lost a few characters, and I just look at it as a shot at doing better then the last character. Still a bummer to lose all that progress, but ish happens and life goes on.

 

I don't think shutting it down will help at all. They need to keep going until they figure out the problem, and this is the best way to do that and probably the most efficient. Basically trial and error at this point till they figure out what it is they need to keep the servers stable. Them making a lot of money isn't magically going to fix the problem, as thix probably isn't about not spending enough on finding a solution. They are obviously working very hard on it, as down time is minimal now and surely will be a thing of the past very soon. Getting them stable will probably be the fix to character deletions and then we can all jump for joy and forget about how foolish we acted....

Iv went from 21 to 17 and lost l50k, never happened to me before tonight. Almost lost my character completely. Good job someone on here told me not to go back online until servers go back up. Annoyed but i can make it back. I really hope they sort this out soon. Such a great game
