To Those Who Kill In Freemode

Killing in free roam is hella fun...who gives a crap about all the crap you just said.

 

I do, and I can bet money there are 10's of thousands of others that do.

But again, it isn't a whine, I was legitimately asking what you gain out of it, because I don't see what you do.

 

What I gain is the satisfaction of kicking your ass...that is all...nothing more. You may think how is that any fun?...to some people it is the most satisfying part of the game...forget all of the missions...in-game cash...apartments etc...just wanna free-roam like a badass and kill everything in sight.

 

 

It's easy to put a bullet in someone, but a legit one on one unarmed fight can give real respect. Even someone who has never handled a gun before can shoot a person. You make it sound like it takes skill, when all it takes is the movement of a finger.

 

They're all just movements of a finger. It's a video game.

I've met ONE random, who walked right by me and didnt shoot me.

 

He caught me slipping b/c I didnt have my gun out as I was on the computer.

 

It's was quite shocking actually, I was looking at the screen, like sh*t, he's gonna kill me.

 

Was kinda creepy as well, he walked slowly by me and didnt do anything.

 

But yeah, I usually don't trust anyone, except friends.

I saw a female on a bike before and I was in an Infernus, I rammed her off because I knew exactly what she wanted: my flash car, my money and

my penis

.

 

Later on I heard some player got tricked into buying a female character a bike and she shot him, laugh out loud!

Go to SP activate free aim then go back online no people killing each other unless they're messing I was able to drive around with people and do random stuff seems most mature people or adults play with free aim

Tbh, I only really put holes in someone if they start chasing me. I'm not that guy. You can't harass/follow/chase/attempted murder me and think it's okay.

There are many ways of deceasing people, I like rammming a car in to em smashed faced on the pavement or wall.

 

I recommend joining a private session That is where the real GTA V life begins.

There's no benefits to killing in Freemode, even for trolls. There's usually only negative effects to the player who was killed, and actually, negative effects to the killer.

 

Killer effects

Max xp you gain per kill: 100 (I don't even know the minimum because I haven't killed in Freemode, see no reason to)

Sure, maybe this is how you rob a person, I don't see you getting 10k, and even if you use this tactic to farm for cash, your skills stay ultimately sh*tty.

Wasted ammo

Chance to waste extra ammo

Chance to damage or total person vehicle

 

Victim effects:

Pay Hospital bill

 

 

 

There's no scoreboard so you can gloat, either. So I seriously don't see the point in it. It seems entirely more logical to go back to GTA4 and kill people in Freeroam than here. And no, I've actually never been killed in free roam, shot, yes, but I've never paid any Hospital Bills.

You own a crew. Just play with them. There's no point in complaining.

And you do realize you're setting yourself up to be trolled, right?

THis was already suggested, and I've been playing since Beta Launch. Gender doesn't change anything.

Firstly, there's no complaining. The topic of this thread was to ask what is the reason people do it. I ask why because I don't see any benefits in doing it. As it was said, this is not a whine, read before you rant.

Actually I was trying to be a "nice guy" not killing anyone when I first played GTA Online...

But all of the sudden I realized - Damn... It´s GTA ... and killed everybody.

This is akin to the religious needing the promise of heaven in order to be good and moral and all that bullsh*t. I don't really need a reason to have simple fun. To me, stuff like deathmatches or survival are extremely restricted and rigid and are thus extremely boring. They are nowhere near as dynamic as what freeroam can offer. Of course it's also not much fun fighting people who won't bother fighting back at all. That's why they should go the way of RDR and have a friendly and non friendly server. Having just one makes passive mode kind of pointless because you get negatively marked for killing anyone anyway, and not being able to kill anyone is pretty unfair what with the bounty system in place.

The people who kill others in free roam do so because they know it upsets/angers those who are killed. That's reason enough for them to keep doing it.

 

The only way they can keep people from purposely killing others is deducting $1,000 each time they kill someone in free roam and allowing them to go into the red and having that money stat stick to their Live/PSN ID. That way the people couldn't buy enough ammo or upgrade anything.

 

Of course I don't think R* will do that, nor should they. What they should do, though, is add a free roam where person controlled players can't injure other person controlled players. This would fix the most of the crying about the bad sport system.
