ALSO : Updated 6PM ET 10/6/13: We experienced some instability on PlayStation 3 around 11:00 AM ET and service was restored at 12:30 PM ET. Another issue was seen on both platforms just before 4:00 PM ET and was resolved shortly after. How is this any hope? The only time we have any sort of hope is when Rockstar put on their Newswire 'we will return your lost progress to you'. Until then, there's no hope.

 

Why do people keep kissing Rockstar's balls as if they're the greatest? You'd let them f*ck your mother and not call her back you love them so much. It's pathetic, it really is.

  Multiple characters i have created have been erased mainly my Lvl.19 D-ICE character which had about 15,000 dollars in my bank also vehicles and apartment as well. i just want to know if the characters are going to be restore???

That was posted 3 days ago. There's been an update since then. Most people lost their characters AFTER that update so that post means nothing.

I give it till 10pm tonight ET, if my character isn't back by then. I'm just starting a new one. I still have my money, but it is just depressing having to do those first 25 mission again. They are so annoyingly stupid. simeon and gerald makes me want to shoot myself with their retarded mission.

Its better than waiting around for it to be fixed. Atleast I can just get my bank money up since that is the only thing that saves.

I honestly dont know what to do, its not smart right now to buy any cars, spend your money or make new characters seeing as people are losing everything i guess its just a waiting game till we find out we can either get our characters back or the servers are stable and we can feel safe

I strongly advise against that. Do not create a new character over your one, the money that is their will not be their when you do that. Trust me, I had 15 k left on that slot,clicked it it took me to character creation with $0

Also, we have not forgotten about the requests for restoration. We are in the process of determining the options for addressing the issues for those players who have been affected. 100% Agree, everyone starts back as they was because otherwise people are just going to be so far ahead with weapons etc and its going to be no fun Everyone should be made equal again or they should just take a easier route and sort our there servers

i would just like a rest to my acc, its not like our saves are gone, there still there on R* side, im sure they will get them back

To be honest I doubt very much money will be returned... They are probably hoping people get frustrated and when fully fixed go on a gta$ spending spree for even more money

I think it's less that they're doing nothing about it and more that they're completely overwhelmed and have no idea what to do because they know they're in deep trouble with the amount of people they're going to have to help..
