Unable to race with own car

Hi all,

 

I am having an issue where I cannot race with my own car. There are two issues, firstly, I have been unable to start an impromptu race via the quick menu.

 

No matter how close I get to another player, they never come up as in range.

 

Secondly when I host or join a race and chose my vehicle class with custom vehicles enabled, my car does not appear when choosing a ride. Only stock options that don't include even a stock version of my car.

 

System: PS3

Car: Shyster Fusilade

Car class: Coupes

 

Can any one assist? Is anyone else having these issues?

Ughm, are you sure you're picking the right class? When i use my Vapid Dominator in muscle class it pops up for me

I tried again with the sports class and it worked. Not sure why winning coupe races unlocked upgrades for this car then.

 

Still leaves the issue of the impromptu races, anyone got this working?
