Three Quick Questions

Question Number #1

My Default Vehicle, when I started I spent some time looking and driving around for a worthwhile vehicle to start off with. Turns out there wasn't much about, and all the sports cars I found I couldn't use (I can't remember why, but some notification came up saying they weren't suitable or something). Instead, I figured I'd get myself a Jeep. Now that I've progressed, how do I get a new default vehicle? Whenever I load into the game at the moment, I'm stood next to my ugly, dull olive green jeep, and I'd much rather that be a sports car.

 

Alternatively, when I get around to purchasing a garage, do I get to rotate between those cars stored as to which one becomes my default vehicle, or do I need to travel to the garage every time I wish to change car?

 

Question Number #2

Appartments and Garages; I've not purchased any yet so this answer may be an obvious one that simply hasn't come to me yet, but obviously the same properties are available for everyone to own, right? If five people are all going into the same property, how does that work? Is it the same location on the map with five individual instances, or does everyone get to walk around in the same appartment? In addition, can crews purchase a joint appartment?

 

Question Number #3

Kind of relates to both of the above, but is there an option to sell a vehicle and / or property, and if so, what are the returns like?

1.) You have to steal a car you like and put a tracker on it. Putting a tracker on cars can either be doen for money at any Los Santos Customs shop or you can just park them in your garage, if you own one. This won't, however, work for most sports cars, as they are premium vehicles and can only be owned if you buy them online in the game.

As soon as you have access to a garage, you'll also have access to a mechanic, who you can call to deliver your cars to you.

2.) The appartment and garages are instanced, which means they're not actually part of the open world, but an extra room. If two or more people on the same map own the same appartment or garage, they'll still be led to their personal instance upon entering their property.

 

3.) You can sell vehicles at Los Santos Customs, however this works only once every 24 in game hours.
You can't actually sell your appartment, but since you can only ever own one appartement/garage at any given time, should you choose to buy an appartment while already owning one, you'll get a discount on your new appartment. However, that discount won't be the full price you paid for your first appartement.

Per Point #3 though, as you've stated you can only own a single appartment at any given time, would I be right in assuming that come your second purchase, your previous appartment becomes vacant (for you at least) and all/any vehicles stored there are transfered to your new apartment/garage?

 

Per Point #1, I've stolen my initial vehicle and put the tracker on it. I don't want that one any longer however. All I need to do is to steal another vehicle, pay the fee for a new tracker and that'll become my default vehicle?

 

Question Number #4

You can own a single appartment at any given time, that doesn't include other things though does it, such as boat houses and hangers? Else if you cannot own any more than a single building at any time, then you'd be choosing between boats, planes/helicopters and cars/vans/bikes.
