I've noticed that some online missions require you to use a helicopter or approach from the air and I've spent ages looking for helicopters when the mission start and there are none

I think it's a cheap shot making us pay for helicopters level 25 missions and not enough money to purchase and not tge required level to own a helipad

 

Any ideas ???

I think if you sit in a vehicle before you start a mission you'll spawn in the mission with that vehicle

i call in helos from merryweather and shoot the pilot, or wait by the pad near the marina for one to land. you don't have to buy one, you're just silly. i will be buying one when the cash cards are made available though

Sandy shores airstrip

Grapeseed airstrip

The hospitals

The army base

None no flying vehicles

In missions that require you to fly

But if you owned one it would be there you cant own one until you have $780000

i'm telling you i have done this mission by calling MW, it absolutely works

 

i did martins by going to the heli pad near the marina, i had to wait like 10 minutes until a chopper landed

 

also, you can climb the building, there is a ladder on the crane

I've done that multiple times. Helis spawn on the hospital, police area, airport, next to the 'river' outlet outside the airport...

 

Try searching more, instead of complaining.

While in a mission (at least for me) they don't spawn like they do in freeroam - not sure what the place is called, but I'm sure you know where I'm talking about. I usually need to wait for one to actually fly in and land, though you need to be quick and kill the pilot otherwise he will fly away if you get near the helicopter, or take too long to kill him.

 

So, no, you don't need to buy a helicopter.
