Passive Mode needs some slight tweaking

Like the bad sport feature, passive mode needs some tweaking similar to other online games, when it comes to PVP.

 

The other day I ran across some annoying f*cks who we could not kick out unfortunately who were abusing the passive mode. They would kill particular players and reenable passive mode so you could not hit them back. If you seen this happen, you would understand the dick move I am talking about. Not to mention these guys are in cars when in passive mode.

 

Please save me the counter arguments about how I could leave the game if I wanted to or I should expect getting killed this much as it is GTA because those are beside the points.

 

It is an issue that needs to be addressed since most games with PVP have some restrictions to enter safezones or similar, if attacking other people.

 

Speaking of PVP and the ability to shoot everyone you see, besides just the feeling of screwing around, do you really gain anything out of killing everyone you see besides making a sh*t ton of enemies? Not including the bounties.

 

Most I get from ever killing anyone is around $100-$1000

Sounds like it needs a cooldown period.

 

e.g. can not enable 2 minutes after firing your weapon.

 

Personally when I re-spawn, I just go somewhere else and leave them to it.

I haven't used it, but Lester mentioned if you call him you can be hidden on the map, that would let you sneak up behind them and beat their ass to death with a bat (if it works, haven't tried).

pretty valid point that. only a cowardly little asshole would come out of passive mode kill someone then re-enter passive mode. If someone does that there should be a timer for a certain period that stops you entering passive mode again till timer is done.

just blow up their car. that taught the last guy who did that too me a lesson xD . nice little $400+ loss in insurance and not getting any money off my dead body lol slam their car and drop a grenade, use an rpg or just shot up the car nonstop.

Yea I was thinking a cool down period as well. Apparently I did see a cool down on there, but it is like 15 seconds which is activated just for re enabling, not for fighting.

 

Once you get rank 10, you can call Lester for a bounty and it stops them from entering passive mode which is good, but you then get into these bounty wars with people haha.

 

So yes, there is lot of things you can do to help combat assholes like these, except they are ranked very high (I enjoy working towards higher ranks)

 

@xBADCOMPANYx that idea is great, I have not reached rank 50 to get the RPG yet. But my only worry is that, won't that target you as a bad sport? I hope the 'bad sport' feature knows how to tell whether you are defending yourself or not.

 

 

Also, when you do get to kill these assholes who abuse the passive mode, they refuse to have a real death match with you,
