Did anyone else lose their GTAO character?

Is there a fix to this? Will my character appear once Rockstar's servers are back up?

 

Should I create a new character in the meantime? Or will that replace my previous characters I've made prior to the server issues?

Do not create new character all characters are saved on cloud, cloud goes down no character to play, just wait till it's back up

Please use the search button or just read the titles of threads in the future....

 

No just don't play, don't even touch online, cloud is offline and will blow up when it comes back online if you mess with making a new character, once scrambled say bye bye to your old.

I lost my 1st character(main char) but my 2nd char is still there.... pretty pissed off and no i didnt make a new char when the cloud servers were down

I assume I have, as my correct bank amount appears on the character creation screen. The only way that sort of information could appear would be if the cloud had found it, wouldn't it?

 

If that's true, it should have found the rest of my character.

You sound like me because i technically never got deleted. It wasn't until i started spending lots of cash on cool stuff - only then to log back on later and find myself reverted 8 hours of game play.
