Ignore the mongoloids assuring everyone your char is saved on the mystical "cloud" and everything will be fine. I've been waiting 6 days for the return of my original character.

Yeah but that difference is that now it seems like literally everyone lost a character today and me and my friend lost ours at the same time because our loading screen crashed after a match and we had to dashboard it so It's more evident that people who lost it will get them back though it sucks you lost your character.

Next question: Did you do anything or avoid doing anything to get your character back? Deleting patches and reinstalling them, or not making a new character?

i woke up today and my level 34 with the 400k appartment was gone, 2 open character slots now. i wont play gta V again unless it magically comes back.

Do not hit the character slot. Mine was there on social club before I click on it to see If It would show up. It just took me to character creation and now my lvl 25 is gone on social club and have nothing now.

Same char, same slot, had to restart the ps3 or the game for it to reappear when cloud came back up, forgot.

Nope, just came back out of the blue, i really don't think there's anything you can do to prevent it or bring it back, it's just totally random at the moment, i've heard of people playing since day 1 and not losing anything

I heard that if your character is gone from the social club site, you are f*cked.

 

Even if the cloud servers are down it shouldn't change anything on the social club site, this will be my 5th lost character now.

You're just getting lucky, like I was for 3 days.

 

And once it does finally happen to you (most likely will), you're gonna be stunned. The longer this issue goes unresolved the more likely it is that you will lose your character. After this long, I thought I was in the clear...but no.

Every time I see the cloud is pissing on everyone message I back the f*ck out real quick. Sucks for you guys but the people asking for their first chars back when they have overwritten them 3 times since I have no sympathy for.

So, I lost my character a few hours ago too. Made another one in slot 2, a black guy to be specific... Went to check out social club and apparently it morphed into a f*ck ugly blonde white woman...
