Idea about the BAWSAQ

Most likely not, but the prices fluctuate every 30 seconds (on the LCN, so i assume the same on the BAWSAQ) according to some posters.You could invest a million and 30 seconds later be down to 750,000.

Wouldn't the price changes be minimal though; from what I've seen the prices haven't moved much over 5 hours of real time, let alone 30 seconds.

What? Of course you go negative. I had money in the BAWSAQ in Singleplayer for the GTAO launch in Ammu-Nation and my stock price went down. If it goes in the red from your initial, you lose money.

I'm not sure, if you use a large sum of money a 5% price drop (I've seen this many times) can take a large chunk of your money out.

I don't think it eventually will due to players becoming to rich off of it and then sharing it with their friends. My reason being is the message when you try to access it, it tells you that you can only use it in SP. So don't get your hopes up for MP stocks.
