lost my character -_- any help?

so pretty much i turned off gta last night, about 7pm, about an hour ago i was looking on social club, my character was still there, but just now when i put gta in, my character has gone from social club, gone from the game.... do i just wait it out and hope he comes back, or am i totally f*cked and have to make a new one? this happened just within the last hour, he was on social club, but now i just got this: http://prntscr.com/1vmear

 

as you can see, my total earned and total spent is still there, just i have no fecking properties, no stats, no money left,

i did it like 4 times when gerald actually gave me the mission, but no, the only mission i clicked replay on was crooked cops because that game type is fun as sh*t

Hang on for a while, i lost my guy the other day and when i signed on last night they had managed to return him.

Unfortunately I don't believe there's any possible way to revoke this issue. You're just going to have to wait it out for a little while longer to see if your character suddenly reappears.

 

Either that, or you may contact Rockstar and question them as to whether or not it will be possible to require your lost characters in the future.

I have yet to get back my original guy on slot one. It just might be returned. If you wish to start over be sure to use slot 2 as it will save over previous guy from slot 1.

are cloud servers actually down right now? a few people are blaming this on cloud servers, yet when i try join a game i get no errors saying cloud server is down or failed to connect

my social screen shows how much money i have in the bank and how much i earned spent/how much is left in bank, but all the cash i had on my character is not there, and all my characters stats are not there, the only stats that stayed are the stats that are shared between both online characters like total money earned

Rockstar's reportedly receiving record amount of traffic. May take some time to relieve the congestion but their hard at work on it. Are you on PS3 or 360?

I don't believe they are down. My character was lost due to my console freezing itself, then I was able to create a new character immediately without any cloud server messages appearing.

Same thing happened to me, seems like its a recurring problem.
Guess we have to wait and see if they manage to retrieve them....
