I watch FOX News when I need a good laugh. Those people are insane. And they say they give both sides of the story. What are those sides? Conservative side and super-conservative side? They need to take there head out of their asses. USA need to adopt some european policies. It would make this country a much better place to live.

We do not need to adopt European policies here. Socialism works in small doses (see NFL, Social Security) and any deviation from that into an economy based on heavy government intervention and a bloated welfare state would be detrimental IMO. Don't get me wrong, government has a role, but it should be limited and resonable. That's what the founders wanted; a balance. Not Unitarism like France or a Federation like Canada.

I will say Europe has a few things right: High-Speed Rail, Nuclear Power, sensible corporate tax rates (when compared to ours).

Usa needs to adopt at least on thing from Canada. The way they regulate the big banks. In the US there are hardly any rules for how the banks can act and if they do break the rules, there are no punishments. That's why USA can't have a stable economy. But stupid republicans try to say its President Obama's fault. In a way they are right when they say the President is to blame, because its ex-President G.W. Bush's policies that caused the crash in 08 or 09 (can't remember what year it was). Compare how many times the market has crashed in the US to Canada. The results will shock you.

You do realize Glass-Stegall was repealed under Clinton right? That's the law from the New Deal which made it illegal for banks to delve into other sectors like loans and mutual funds.

 

Would reinstalling the law fix the banks and our economy? Nobody knows. However you cannot compare our stock market to that of Canada. Itss like comparing apples and oranges.

I don't understand how anyone can take anything in a GTA game seriously. EVERYTHING is open for humor, even things that go against your personal political or social beliefs. YES!! Those are short term studies. They don't look at the economic effects in the long run. I have read multiple studies that show that long term economic effects are positive. There are 2 sides to every coin.

They look at it from the outside, they have perspectives from the inside, all in between, from Lazlow to the North team, and all the talent in between making these games.

 

They tell it how it really is. They tell it like a good song, an album, a boxed set. They tell it like a proper film. They are attacked for sex, drugs, and violence by the media, because the media dare not say that they are being attacked for the same reason John Lennon and Paul Mccartney were: Because they are telling the truth.
