An observation

Probably has been stated but some background

 

as a 22 year old gamer. I have waited a good chunk of my life for GTA online to be a real thing, Something I can enjoy with my friends. GTA 4 did not quite manage it but 5 DOES. Which is why it pains me to no end to see all these issues that continually crop up and have done for the past 5 days. I am now going on to make my 4th character thanks to another cloud f*ck up and has left me in the dark once again and facing that f*ckING Unskipable tutorial.

 

So whilst I REALLY do want to play this with my friends and have fun like I have been for the past few days I am also now VERY hesitant to make a 4th character. So im going to sit out and wait for everything to stop being broken as hell. However on my wall behind my because I am such a huge fan of this game is the original preorder poster for this game. Pen'd on the poster is Spring 2013. I seriously question what kind of state this online was in back in feb/march of this year looking at how still quite honestly f*cked it is now.

 

Just an observation like I said.

 

TL;DR How did this game ever think it could be shipped in spring originally when the online is STILL this f*cked 6 months later.

I'm thinking this Online has been tacked on SINCE spring which is why it was put back. Originaly GTA online was the same as GTAIV online

I'm thinking this Online has been tacked on SINCE spring which is why it was put back. Originaly GTA online was the same as GTAIV online

 

This also feels to me like the only reason as well and for 6 months of development whilst I have to admire their spirit to do something this ambitious its still not a finished product.. lets be honest.

I honestly very much doubt there even was an online component to GTA V back in Feb/March which is why the release was postponed.
