All you have to do is start a quick job while you're wanted. Complete the job, return to free roam and wanted level gone! *Praise the Sun.

 

Side note: Anyone notice how if you rob stores you get 2 stars, BUT if you keep robbing stores you get 3 stars even if you cleared your previous wanted level. Lol, I see what you did there Rockstar.

of course you get more wanted level if you go on a robbing spree.... it goes up to 4 stars (not sure about 5)

with how broken the mask system is i have never used masks.. half the time they get stuck on your character unable to be taken off.. the other half they dont get put on at all.

they are supposed to drop wanted level by 1 star... but they are very glitchy right now and have a tendency to be permanently attached to your character... so i avoid using them until that is fixed.

Yeh, they work. But it's not just the masks, you can take off a hat or put on some glasses and it will do the same thing. Just make sure police don't have a direct line of sight to you and it will work everytime (or has for me) Edited by Bakb0ne

Yes its 500 to to eliminate the level before starting your mission. If you robbed 3 stores that's at least 3k in addition to the 1000-9000 you'll get from mission, plenty to part with 500.

 

JoeCarr go jump off a cliff dude you're a waste. Many new players have trouble evading a 5 star wanted level online with cops + trolls so this is a way they can avoid losing 2k from their earnings.

 

The only reason I mentioned the XP being greater is because you mentioned the wanted level xp bonus as if it was somehow superior to the majority of missions.

I just rob stores in a heli, rob it > get in > accend, that takes care of 2 stars quickly.

 

I kept doing it and I started getting 3 stars, and then 4.
