Best way to grind race victories?

Long story short, I need about 36 victories in the muscle car category to unlock all of the parts for my Declasse Sabre Turbo. What's the best way to grind them out? Just host races for that category of cars or have a friend race with me so it's a guaranteed victory? I've won 8 solo races, but they didn't seem to count towards the 36 initial victories, so now I have to look for the next best thing. Any suggestions as to how I do this?

What is with the obsession to get money and points as fast as you can? Just play the game and you'll get it eventually.

 

If, for some reason you just have to HAVE TO unlock those rims for you car, get a friend and have him lose to you. 36 times. Damn good friend that would be.

Occasionally you will get in a race lobby with 1-4 people who aren't very good, that's your chance to grind 1st place over and over. Usually if it's one person you stand a pretty good chance of getting some victories in, as long as you don't suck and/or they aren't a racing god.

Do the race around the penitentiary, set it to 1 lap and ram whatever sucker joins with you at the start of the race, 9/10 they'll never be able to catch up with you.
