Question about car insurance

Say I take my Ferrari look-a-like and upgrade it a good amount and sink some money into it. If some asshole in MP blows it up and I get it back via insurance, will it still have the engine mods, etc? I've heard differing things on this.

Yes it will. Nothing changes about the car. I have a fully upgraded mustang look a like and it's been blown up/fell in water a few times. Although, the first car I've modded had insurance, blew up, and was no longer retrievable but that was day 1.
