Xbox 360 texture loading and consistent freezing

Hi guys, the past couple days I've been having problems with random freezing while driving around. It always starts out freezing for a couple seconds, then I know I'm in for hell.. After that buildings start disappearing, the road goes away, (which I try and deal with) but then it freezing every 2-20 seconds and then I get angry and force my xbox to shut off. If anyone knows any solutions or recommendations that would be great!
