Iroquois Posted October 5, 2013 Share Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) After my 1st encounter with the hatch which also happened to be in online, i have somethings i like to mention; you could refer to my latest post about walking underwater near the hatch: http://gtaforums.com/topic/615476-walking-underwater/ After spending a few minutes near it, the knocking ceased and then yellow light went out for another few minutes. During that time, the knocking started up again, then followed by the turning on of the light. That hatch has a "bar" similar to that seen to be able to affected by hooks such as seen on cargobobs, tow trucks, etc... Maybe if you hover a cargobob directly over that spot, you could probably release a long enough hook to get it....OR the submarine might be able to affect it. Possibly even the sky crane (maybe use the magnet to lift it out of the water?)...let me explain further with my next point. While in online, i got an invite for a job but the joining failed and i was returned to the game. In the case of online, when you die or respawn after a failed loading screen, you spawn in the exact place, and in the case of water, you spawn to the closest possible road towards the land. When the loading failed, I spawned from the hatch to the humane lab. If you look at the map, the closest thing would be the quarry. If you kill yourself anywhere close to the quarry, you'll spawn at the quarry or very near it. When i spawned at the humane lab, I spawned very close to the main entrance to the building. Humane lab is pretty far from the hatch. My theory? The hatch easter egg maybe related to humane lab...there might be a key or secret entrance or something that relates to the hatch...i mean why would it spawn me there? Also, the sky crane is originally found at the humane lab (in SP). Coincidence? I think not. But yea, someone needs to replay/redo that humane lab mission and take as many detours as possible inside to find any secret tunnels, entrances, terminals, codes, elevators, or clues. Will do. Im close to 100% so ill redo the humane lab mission slowly if i cant find the entrance back into the humane lab in freeroam. Anyways, its possible the hatch is an emergency door for an secret lab under Los Santos. If a virus got loose, the hatch would open to flood the lab and kill all inside.
