You are congratulating R* on earning 1 billion in 3 days (well done to them not gonna lie they are players) AND you are asking people to show them gratitude (the title of this thread). Why would you guys worship someone like that knowing that person does not even know you exist and only knows that your 60 bucks helped contribute to their wealth. Really they worked 5 years not to make this game (well obviously they did for the people that do not get this point) but to make a sh*t f*ck of money. Not that there is anything wrong with that, however you people are valuing them as if they have actually done a service to the public. It is borderline insanity. However carry on it amuses me. Besides, there are some fair points of criticism that have been brought up but most of the whining is nonsensical and pointless IMO. Was curious as there are alot of people on this forum who respect R* for the wrong reasons. I respect them as a profitable business who know how to make money. Anyone who started playing games in the PS3/360 gen that's in their 30's and hasn't played games before are the casual gamers. Also they are casual gamers if they're blind and can't see what these big companies are doing to them. Trying to milk as much cash out of you as possible. Very few of them and then you get companies that take advantage of DLC to milk out the game even more. If its true you've been gaming for that long then you should see why people complain about GTA V. Anyone else who join in this generation doesn't have a clue in what we're talking about. Everyone here paid $60 bucks for a game that they expected to great, and it fell kind of short of that (in some people's opinions). If you found that your experience of the game was great, that's good for you, but with the amount of bugs I've experienced in SP and the massive headache MP brought me as well as many others, we have every right to complain.... Question What are you doing exactly? In preventing this 1 - 10- 100 person(s) from hating against R* what exactly are you achieving for them and for yourself? If the result is pleasing and it brings them money and the same time it makes their fans happy - its a large bonus, but if its not, but they still be able to get money then...well you know how it is...If however they aren't getting money and their games doesn't sell well, then there's definitely something to think about... This argument is BS man. R* release multiple games year and year out. GTA 3 , Vice city and San Andreas were more or less a year apart. Then came the liberty city and vice city stories, THEN came GTA IV. Then came the episodic content, RDR, LA noire and other R* games (I dont care what 'department' made them its still R* if you try to argue that then I will use the whole COD Black ops was made by a different developer BS) THEN came out GTA V. Maybe not the word hate since its a strong word but lets say you can see the lies and see the unfinished product that these developers say are complete because you've been gaming for a while and know what should be in a product. I had huge freezing problems, couldn't do anything to stop this madness. I couldn't repare or save anything thorugh the recovery menu. Now I need a new hard drive and all my saves of all games are gone, not only of GTA V. And all this happend 5 days ago right after the online update release. So there are a lot people who not only lost 50 hours of gameplay of V but also the whole f*cking hard drive!! So please STFU!!!
