I was in a private lobby, stole some guys car, an npc (someone of the CGF affiliation) and everyone started shooting at me. Then I got a text saying I would end up on a slab followed by another text that said I have a bounty on me. From what I gather, if the bounty is an odd number 3, 5, 7, or 9 thousand dollars it's probably an npc as I've only been able to put an even thousands of dollars on another player. The game is called Grand Theft Auto. If Rockstar is stupid enough to institute a method to work against players doing this..Then they themselves have ruined the fundamental backbone of the game. You are ruining peoples games by quitting out of missions you accepted, so you get punished by getting a bounty and playing with all the other retard players for 2 days. They wouldn't rename the whole series because of one detail. I know it seems a bit detrimental but it's an attempt to more or less motivate people to use their own vehicles and to challenge those who use convenient methods. You can steal cars and sell them on LS Customs but you run the risk of obtaining a bounty through this method. I believe it's a way to add a risk to the reward of stealing so many vehicles.
