Character customisation fixes

Hi dear community and moderators.

 

First i'd like to appologise for my bad english and thank you to read it all before replying, if ther's any change to do tell me

I want to talk here about something that really need a fix:
(nope it's not about money nor about connexion issues)

The character customization (how your face looks like):

I find the way you guys did this is pretty interesting even tough it's never been made this way for a simple reason:

Way too complicated and impossible to end with the result you really want.

But the real problem here is;

YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE YOUR CHAR APPEARANCE ONCE !! ???

Why ? the progress in this game is going pretty "slow" and "redundant" in this kind of game, so customizing your character appearance should be doable more than at the beginning and upon reaching lvl 10… (remember APB)

Plus i haven't seen a post about it but when i had my second chance to make my character lookalike something good i was wearing a mask… and there's no options on the customization menu to disable/unwear it…

So i ended up with a super ugly character looking like a deaf bulldog with a big nose…

 

So recapitulating:

1: Give the player a way to change his character appearance at any given time in game (could cost a lot to prevent too much data changed at once over and over).

2: Add something to disable/unequip masks, hats and glasses in the customization menu.

3: Give me a real chance to have a character not ugly as Jabba the hut's ass.

I second this, shouldn't be to hard to set up the hospitals for "plastic surgery".

 

I like the idea of choseing herritage, I hate not being able to fine tune the facial features at least. Its bad enough that my female charachter looks like a fricken amazon due to everyone haveing the same height, but no matter what I do she ends up looking like a 40 yr old meth addict inspite of being 21, and instead of picking grand parents and parent combinations I liked, I just tried to get the least ugly face and a decent skin tone, only got the skin tone right. As it stands I'm grateful to be playing from a rear view since the face lacks something to be desired, especialy without makeup....

 

I know something like this can't be done overnight, but if you guys acknowledge the need for such a feature, that would be awesome. By that I mean true customization, not this heritage crap thats great in theory but fails in practice, and plastic surgury could be done without eliminating the allready set up herritage.

Everyone knows the actual problems... i'm looking ahead and assume they will fix this. this post is about one of the thing they have to change in order to give to players an enjoyable content.

when i see some of the "strippers" npc's face especialy a blond one named "lucy" i can't get why this heritage thing keeps throwing out chars like that.

 

The size casualisation has obviously something to do with animations wich i can totaly understand.

 

EDIT: @cjkuhlenbeck thankyou but as said before your replys have nothing to do with this post and are completly useless and unconstructive, if you'r in a troll mood ill ask you to go on another forum/post otherwise you can just start being constructive and delete your prev. posts

Umm...no one is going to believe me on this, but I was given the option to change my character's appearance after being AFK for a while.

Well it disconnected me from free roam and said something like

 

"You have the option to alter your character's appearance. Would you like to?"

At lvl 5 or 6 something i was asked if i wanted to change my appearance.

 

So if you are unsatisfied after creating your char, you will get another chance to change the looks

obv ther's a way to change your face but since ther's nothing to unequip/disable your mask it's useless so i ended up with a char even uglyer than before

It let me change my look multiple times, I think the servers were glitched or something? I'd pay (ingame money) for an option to change our look tbh, like plastic surgery. We're in Los Santos, it's pretty much famous for that kind of stuff, haha.

Should have been able to control specific things like muscle mass and fat, so everyone doesn't have the same body-type.

The main issue is the low res textures that the creator seems to use versus what you actually see in game and for most, they are just happy to finally make it past the tutorial. I had that change popup after I had DCed from a long session when trying to rejoin friends on a mission so I skipped it as they were not going to wait for me to tweak my character before the start of the mission. They should give us the option to change every 5-10 levels but I can see this end up being a real money option as it seems Rock$tar is more concerned with that then fixing the real issues.

 

The creator itself cannot even decide sometimes what to do as I wrote down my character's build info when I made her the first day but she got deleted so when I remade her it took a few times as sometimes the skin tone would be different or the face would be a little different even when using the same settings each time.

I had a chance to change my character once. It also says in the beginning of the game b4 you create your character that you can change it later. But as far as changing it at will.... I haven't seen that feature yet
