The future of GTA Online?

Maybe like a wishlist.

 

Where do you think GTA Online will be headed?

What do you guys want to see in the future for GTAOnlline?

 

I could imagine it being sold as a separate disc for $25-50 once more content comes in, and really hoping that we will see Liberty City return. Maybe even Vice City if they decide to do a Single Player (GTA VI+) for it. There's a lot of story that could be done in GTAOnline for LC since it would take place a few years after the events of Niko Bellic, since that's where GTAO is set. Maybe to get there you would have to go to the airport and pay a certain fee, then it moves you to a LC lobby/game.

1. Fix Cloud saving issue (or alternatively, do away with Cloud saving altogther).
2. Return lost progress to players who suffered a loss of character, car, cash or property. If unable, offer compensation by way of an apology

Really, these are the only things that are needed right now. If these aren't fixed, GTA Online doesn't have a future.

Isn't this a bit early? I'm not aware of a single person that has a maxed out character yet, so there's nobody in endgame yet, which also means that nobody has unlocked all the content that is in the game right now.

Really, these are the only things that are needed right now. If these aren't fixed, GTA Online doesn't have a future.

 

 

I love the irony that R* uses Cloud saving for GTA Online when they themselves satirize Clouds altogether in an in-game radio commercial.

While GTA 5 might not make it to next gen, I def think GTAO will. It will open up to 32 - 64 player sessions and will be ruled by microtransactions.
