Last time the CPU Put a $5k on me, when I survived the bounty they gave ME the reward money for surviving it. I haven't had a $9K bounty yet But I think it should be the same if you survive, if its a CPU bounty.

You have to progress through missions and Lester should contact you offering options regarding bounties.

If you survive one ingame day without getting killed by someone ( you can still die or be shot by npc) you'll get the reward and some rp points

Can you only put bounty's on ppl that have done this mission? Reason I ask is I was in a server w like 14 other ppl but it would only allow me to put a bounty on like 3 of them. Also do they tell you who puts a bounty on you? Because I'd like to take revenge on some of the players when they put bounty's out for no reason.

 

 

@Op no sounds like that dude just really wanted u dead congrats highest I've seen was 5k and the dude hid in his safehouse forever, rather rob 5 mini-marts tbh lol. I had a 1k bounty for like an hour before someone finally came after me to collect and it stayed the same.

Could be but I've played the game and not had a bounty up until visiting Lester. I'm pretty passive in freeroam so this could be why, but 30min. after visiting Lester I had a 1k bounty for nothing. I also tried to put a bounty on a certain player and don't think he was using passive mode after killing me.

 

He'd just killed me once coming out of AmmuNation and the 2nd time spawned really close and he got me again, but it wouldn't let me put a bounty on him so I think you have to wait until they have the bounty option by visiting Lester before you can put one on them.
