Xbox cloud is down

yep it's both platforms now... were' running about about 4 hrs. of the cloud servers being down today

Lol ive been on since 7am this morning, right up to 8pm this evening. Not one interuption or issue.

 

PS3 UK has been fine.

 

really.... that's strange. Was working perfect till like around 2ish and bam not been able to connect since

I havnt had as much problems in the last few days, as I have in the past 10 minutes trying to connect to the servers. I can't get online. So much for an update to sort all of this out. Gotta love how they say online is a bonus, no... I bought the game for the online. Where is my online?

This would be my 6th or 7th guy to get erased if it doesnt save for me. I guess its SP for a bit. Still have lots to do anyways.

Dude, I've been waiting, I waited 2 weeks just to play online because they didnt have it up and running and then I've waited for an update which didn't sort the problem. You can't just take money from people for things that don't work properly or leave them waiting for weeks.

Get the same message, too on xbox 360. But my brother who lives a few blocks away from me and the people on my friend list can play it without any issues.

 

Edit: Now they seem to get problems, too.

Maybe they're playing solo?

 

I too get the same error message. At least it comes instantly now when trying to go online, which is a good sign if you ask me.

Rockstars PR people told us that it was so we had time to adjust to the new game. What the actual reason was that because it wasn't finished yet. It still wasn't finished on the 1st apparently, but what were R* to do? Delay the release of the game by another few weeks? The public would have gone mad. Delay the online release by a few more weeks? The public would have gone mad. They were in a lose lose situation, that their PR people have handled terribly.

It's been down for ps3 all day. You can play solo that's it basically.

 

Haven't been able to do 1 single job or mission today. I love how the 5th day since release is as bad as the disaster of a launch they had on day 1.

yeah i bought it for online too godammit i feel like i got partly ripped off but i love what rockstar is trying to do with GTAO at the same time.

They could have delayed GTAO by by maybe 30 days
