I logged in and got a cloud server error message. Logged out and logged in again and now I have a level 25 (used to b 10), have about 500,000 in cash and a apartment..PS3

That happens if you start the game with the controller upside down, note keep it that way until your online character loads.

Note 2: you need to have sixaxes controller

They supposedly didn't create the character, it just appeared in their slot.
